▶准备一份优质的自我介绍

大多数学校的英语口语首要的环节就是自我介绍。这也是为考研er送分的一个环节。不过，准备自我介绍也是有技巧的。如何避免前篇一律，突出自己的特点，且能够流畅地说出来，而不是生硬的背诵，还是需要考研er花费一定的时间的。

另外，很多考研er反映，有的学校复试英语根本没有机会用上自己精心准备的自我介绍。其实，不是没机会用，而是你没把握机会。且不说复试题目每年都会变，说不定今年就可能用上，如果自我介绍准备的足够充分，一些相关的问题也是可以用准备的自我介绍中的内容来回答的。

所以，不管怎么样，一份充分、优质的自我介绍是考研复试英语必须做的准备工作。

▶准备一些可谈论的话题

考试常常会包括其他一些内容，对有可能问到并展开的话题也要有所准备。要事先阅读一些相关文章，积累一些有关词汇。

一般来说，如果有外教面试，感兴趣的话题常常是考生所在国家或地区的文化和风俗习惯，如气候特征，特色食品，婚庆习俗，重大节日，名胜古迹，休闲娱乐等。

每个专业在考研复试英语面试过程中必备的一个环节便是自我介绍，它是考生留给老师第一印象的“敲门砖”，考生在准备得时候要学会对自己的亮点进行包装，找到自己独特的优势，如：学术修养，大学期间阅读的著作，参加过的实践，与导师做过的课题，参加过哪些竞赛以及获得的奖项等，并同时要对本专业的专业术语进行准备，以防老师在提问的过程中遭遇尴尬。一个好的自我介绍能够为接下来的环节开一个好头，也能在最开始减少考生紧张情绪，提升考生自信。

这是很多面试考官喜欢问的一个问题，也是你展示自己的最佳机会，不要吹嘘自己或过于自负，但要让雇主知道你相信自己，你知道自己的优点。如可答：“我认为我最大的优点是能够执着地尽力把事情办好。当做完一件工作而其成果又正合我的预想时，我会有一种真正的成就感。我给自己定了一些高目标。比如说，我要成为出色的毕业生。尽管在大学一年级时我启动慢了些，但最终我以优等论文完成了学业。”

3. What is your greatest weakness?【你最大的弱点是什么?】

你不应该说你没有任何弱点，以此来回避这个问题。每个人都有弱点，最佳策略是承认你的弱点，但同时表明你在予以改进，并有克服弱点的计划。可能的话，你可说出一项可能会给学校带来好处的弱点，如可说：”我是一个完美主义者。工作做得不漂亮，我是不会撒手的。”

4. How do you feel about your progress to date?【对于你至今所取得的进步你是怎样看的?】

绝不要对你以前的所作所为表示内疚。如可答：“我认为我在学校表现不错。事实上，有好几门功课我的成绩居全班第一。在某公司实习时，我获得了该公司数年来给予其雇员的好几项最高评价。”

三、尊重老师，态度诚恳

尊重老师在英语面试中主要体现在认真听老师提出的问题、对自己的点评，甚至是批评，不要与老师发生直接冲突，也不要认为自己的英语水平高而目中无人，老师的资历绝对比在场的考生高，因此一定要谦虚有礼貌;需要指出的是，正面的学术探讨是值得鼓励的，但是反对驳斥老师的意见与批评，甚至恶语相向是坚决不可以的。

四、注重礼仪

在面试场上，一定要注重自己的仪容仪态，女生可以适当化淡妆，男生要保持脸部的清爽，不要留胡须;男女生着装上不要过于前卫，不要奇装异服，建议穿比较沉稳的颜色;要注意考生在面试的过程中，坐姿和站姿一定要腰背挺直，拿出精气神，要注意始终面带微笑，学会眼神交流;全程切勿有不适当小动作如挠耳朵、咬嘴唇、翻白眼等，也不要因为在考场上听到自己熟悉的题目后就沾沾自喜，即使面试前做了充足的准备，也不能得意忘形，手插裤兜、摇头晃脑，这只会让人生厌。
