雅思口语高分范文示例:
A couple of days ago, I had a dream about missing a train. It was something indicative to me. But I could not get the meaning clearly right that moment and later I realized that it was a sign of my negligence to my study. Later, I started focusing on my academic studies. This is a nice cue card for me and I will explain the matter in brief here.
It was a mixed feeling. In fact, for past couple of weeks, I had not been concentrating on my academic activities. I used to move around and bunk the college classes. Moreover, I got a couple of friends who were also similar to me and with their company, I failed to focus on my academic activities. So, when I saw the dream, I started feeling guilty. It was my subconscious mind that was telling me to improve my academic career.
Actually, the dream was a kind of symbolic instruction to me. I saw that I was missing a train as I was late to reach the station. I tried to catch the train, ran for a while but could not get into that for a few seconds. It could have been interpreted in several ways. But I discovered that it was my subconscious mind which was worried about me. Through the dream, it was warning me to come back on the track. If I do not follow the usual rules, I may experience some detrimental impacts.
I remember the dream very well as it was in my present condition. I was having some wonderful day with my mates and moved to different parts of the city. I made late to return home and followed the same routine in the next day. The dream warned me. And so I remember it.
雅思口语国家危机话题
Describe a crisis in your country
【Note: This sample is only to be taken as a reference】
If I were to pick a crisis to talk about,it would no doubt be the financial crisis that’s wreaking havoc worldwide. Nota country left untouched. Mine included.
The repercussions are deep andwide-ranging. Practically every sector in the economy has felt the effects oneway or the other. Some harder than most.
China, the 3rd largest economyin the world, has had to deal with falling exports and imports, rising tide of unemploymentamong both migrant workers and fresh graduates and last but definitely not theleast, unprecedented number of business closures. It’s a vicious cycle that’snot going to end anytime soon.
What does this all mean for the commonperson like me? Let me put this in a simplistic way. If I am a graduate, I canexpect NO jobs for the foreseeable future. If I am a business owner, I hadbetter start planning who to lay off next. If I am a salaried worker, I hadbetter start worrying my job security and probably start writing my resume. It goeson and on and on…. The point is - this crisis hits everyone, if not now, thensurely later. The scary part is when?
I have absolutely no idea how to stem thiscrisis. I don’t even know how this mess even started! Although there’s acertain superpower I could point the finger at as the cause of this nightmare. But anyway, it’s not my job…I’m not going to go into that.
I really feel for those who had to bear thebrunt before me but for now, I count myself as one of the lucky few who hasn’thad to make any changes to my lifestyle.
雅思口语有用的建议话题
Milly gave me some advice about health care.
She said that a person who wanted to be healthy must do 3 things.
The first is sleeping well. Sleeping is the most important factor of health. A person needs to sleep at least 8 hrs every day, and the best time for sleeping is between 10 pm and 7 am. staying up is the killer of fitness, while in the past, I liked to play computer games very much, sometimes I stayed up overnight and slept for 24 hrs the second day, which was a really bad habit.
Milly also suggested me to eat more vegetables and fruits, especially the fresh ones. But for me, I thought, vegetables were grasses, which was used to feed animals. Instead I only ate red meats, like pork, beef and mutton, now I am trying to change the habit and I am getting used to vegetables and fruits.
The last, she suggested me is doing exercises. At that time she was doing yoga, which she thought was an excellent exercise for ladies. I haven’t joined her so far, though I tried many times, but I will make up my mind to do it.
That is the suggestion from milly, who helped me a lot. I do appreciate it very much.
雅思口语课余活动对教育的作用话题
Question:
What role do you think extracurricular activities play in education?
课余活动对教育起什么作用?
Answer:
By participating in extracurricular activities, a person can expand his or her social circle. If you play basketball, you can meet people of other grades from other majors and you can become friends on and off court. So these after-class activities really help us to know more people.
If you are an activity organizer, you can develop many skills and abilities that you can never learn in a classroom. These techniques include public speaking ability, people skills, and organizational skills. These skills will continue to be beneficial to you after you graduate.
College is a place where we meet life, both academically and leisurely. Extracurricular activities show us possibilities of entertainment. And if you participate in these activities, you can find a life-long hobby that you can enjoy for the rest of your life. I fell in love with basketball when I was in college, and it has been a constant pleasure in my spare time.
In a sense, doing extracurricular activities can change your personality. Maybe you’re an introvert person, and now you’re extrovert. We say personality decides your fate. See? Do you still deny that extracurricular activities play an positively important role in education? 【193 words】
