雅思口语老师话题

雅思口语重在日常积累和练习，但并非茫无目的。我们必须针对不同的话题，分门别类，进行强化训练，只有这样才能脚踏实地，提高口语水平。

1.Do you think you could be a teacher?

你觉得你可以做老师么?

I don’t think I am suitable to be a teacher, I am not a patient man and cannot bear to repeat the same things frequently. Teachers’ job is really boring to me, you have to make your explanations as easy as possible for students to fully understand. It is a challenging job, I am afraid I cannot do it.

2. Do you have a favourite teacher?

你有最喜欢的老师么?

Um… Yeah, I suppose I do, but it’s actually kind of hard to pick out a favourite because I’ve been really lucky with all my teachers. You know, they’ve been really great, at least most of them anyway, but I guess my favourite teacher would have to be my Chinese language teacher, because she was incredible. I mean, the amount of effort she put into her teaching, and her attention to detail, were just amazing. And not only that, but she also showed a genuine care for all of us, which left a really deep impression on me. So yeah, out of all my teachers, I’d say she was probably my favourite.

3.What are the qualities of a good teacher?

好老师所具有的品质有?

I should say a good teacher is one who always is well prepared for the class. And I guess if the person has a good sense of humour that would help because, you know, boring, ah, session, nobody would sit in the class, you know, hours after hours.

4.Should teachers use discipline in the classroom?

老师可以在教师里规训学生么?

Coming from where I, um, am, I think yes, teachers should discipline students. In Korea, students would respect the teachers. My mum’s generation was more so, and my mum had to say one day, she thought teachers don’t eat, don’t go to the toilet, they are demi-Gods and wouldn’t even step on the shadow of the teacher, because you respect the teacher so much. But I don’t think same kind of respect is here and students sometimes misbehave during class hours and I just find it hard to understand.

5.Do you want to be a teacher someday?

你将来想成为老师么?

Umm! not really. I have not given it that much thought. But among my many career plans, entering in the teaching profession is not the one that ever attracted me.

6. Why people choose to become teachers?

人们选择做老师的理由是?

People mostly choose to be teachers because this is the profession which is praised across the world. People always pay proper respect to a teacher regardless of geographical location. Moreover, when the knowledge is spread among the students, the teachers receive an unimaginable pleasure.

雅思口语study efficiency话题

1. Do you prefer to study in the morning or in the afternoon?

思路：这题我们以‘更喜欢早上学习’举例回答。可以先直接回答更喜欢早上还是下午，然后进行一些扩展或是给出理由。可以考虑做个对比，解释一下为什么下午不好。

误区：有的同学回答的时候会在用词上和原题重合，比如‘I prefer to study in the morning’ ，或者‘I prefer to study in the afternoon’;为了在lexical recourses上面拿分，我们应该尝试把‘prefer’和‘in the morning’或者‘in the afternoon’给换掉哦。

语料：

a morning person喜欢白天的人

in the day在白天

but saying that我只是说说，事实是……

范例：

For me, personally, I find it a lot easier to read and do my course work right after I wake up from a good night’s sleep and have some lovely filter coffee. But later on after my lunch break, I would always feel so full up that I wouldn’t be able to do anything any more. But saying that, I can’t really manage to get out of my bed on most mornings.

2. Do you find it hard to focus on studying at different times during the day?

思路：我们可以一个开头，再加最多两个小例子就可以啦。比如有人在周围聊天的时候，我很难看得进书;还有外面修路修地铁的尖锐的噪音也让我受不了。

误区：虽然题目里面有说‘at different times’，但并不是要我们列举在几点钟的时候觉得很难专心学习。这里是说不同的时候或者场合。

范例：

Yeah, I often have that feeling actually. Whenever there are people talking around me, I just feel that it is impossible for me to do any reading or anything. Apart from that, the never-ending high-pitched noise from the road works never fails to do my head in.

Describe a place that can be good to relax 【not home】.

You should say:

where this place is

and explain why you think it is a good place for relaxation.

此题的place为比较泛指的题目，所以可以为其他的题目合并过来的答案，为coffee shop, a nice and quiet restaurant, a park or a public garden, an amusement park , a beach area that I have been to等等。

所以可以选择比较接地气的答案来说，或者是自己熟悉的范围

When talking about places for relaxation, the first place that comes into my mind is Xuanwu Park, a park that most of the NanJing people are familiar with and like to spend time in, and obviously it’s such a good place to relax.

Where & what do they do:

Xuanwu Park is located in the centre of NanJing city, and if my memory serves rite, it is maybe one of the largest parks in this city. In the park, it doesn’t have too many entertainment facilities, but I guess the attractive scenery actually serves people of all ages: you know, children can play on the huge lawn in the park, run around and just have fun there, teenagers or youths can do camping or boating in the park, and old people usually do square dancing or play chess or just play taichi everyday.

雅思口语A well known story话题

Describe a well-known traditional story from your country.

You should say:

who told you the story

when you 【first】 heard it

what it was about

and explain how you felt when you heard this story.

时态：过去时，注意动词的不规则变化

话题：一个传统的家喻户晓的故事，大家可以选择的故事特别多。

1.电视剧，名著：《西游记》Journey to the West; 《白蛇传》The Legend of the White Snake;《天仙配》Angel Matches;《三国演义》The Romance of the Three Kingdoms等等。

2.传统小故事，耳熟能详《孔融让梨》《孟母三迁》《凿壁偷光》《曹冲称象》等等。

3. 传统节日相关，“屈原投江”可以结合传统节日端午节，除夕的故事，“牛郎织女”结合七夕节，“嫦娥奔月”结合中秋节等等。

当然在网上有很多这样的小故事的英文资料，大家不妨可以搜索一下相关的语料，但是呢，最好能改编成符合自己语言水平的语料，遇到一些特别难的词，不妨做一下同义替换。 今天跟大家分享的一个故事就是一个对中国人都很有特别意义的一个节日：除夕。

大家知道除夕是一年中最重要的日子，全家人在一起守岁，中国的CCTV一年中最盛大的晚会——春节联欢晚会也是在除夕那一夜进行，可见这个日子的特殊性。大家知道除夕的名字是除掉”夕”的意思，很多春节期间大家的传统活动和习俗都跟这个神话故事是有关系的，接下来我跟大家讲一下“除夕”的由来。

在古代有一只怪兽叫做“夕”，它专门在新年的第一天出现，吃很多活物，家畜甚至是孩子。村民为了避免被伤害，都会提早准备食物放在门口供怪兽食用。但是，经年累月，有的村民想要永远消除怪兽对大家的威胁，于是决定除掉“夕”，经由一个神仙指点，他们得知怪兽害怕红色的东西和爆竹的声音。于是在新年的前一天，大家都会在门上，窗子上贴红色的东西，并且燃放爆竹。这就是除夕的由来。现在大家在过年的时候依然贴对联、窗花、燃放鞭炮烟花。

Well, there are lots of traditional stories that are familiar to everyone in China. Some of them are from history books and novels, like Journey to the West, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Some are mythology, such as The Legend of the White Snake and Angel Matches. I’d like to tell you a traditional legend story, which is a household story in China. The first time I heard it was on the eve of lunar New Year telling by my dad as a bedside story, maybe before my kindergarten year I guess. I asked my dad why we pasted so many red paper-cuts on the doors and windows. My dad said it is a tradition and then told me a story that I remember very well. Long time ago, there was a mythical beast called the Xi. Xi would come on the first day of New Year to eat livestock, crops, and even villagers, especially children. To protect themselves, the villagers would put food in front of their doors at the beginning of every year. It was believed that after the Xi ate the food they prepared, it wouldn't attack any more people. One day, a villager decided to get revenge on the Xi. A god visited him and told him to put red paper on his house and to place firecrackers. The villagers then understood that the Xi was afraid of the color red. When the New Year was about to come, the villagers would hang red lanterns and red spring scrolls on windows and doors. People also used firecrackers to frighten away the Xi. From then on, Xi never came to the village again. Frankly speaking, when I heard the story I was a little bit frightened by the beast, you know, back then I was a toddler. I was afraid maybe the beast would come and eat me!
