You should say
What the sport is
Where you watched it
Why you choose to watch it
And explain why you want to try it later
Are there many people around you play the sport?
Gosh, this topic is hard for me, I don’t really go to many sporting events, and it isn’t especially an interest of mine. However, I can think of one which enticed me to go and watch, I’ll tell you as much as I can about the event, how often it takes places and why it was, to me at least, interesting!
The sporting event I went to was Le Tour de France – except it wasn’t! For one year only the opening stages took place near to where I live in South Yorkshire, but more of that later.
The event is a world famous cycling race. It takes place every year, in a series of stages which are mainly in France, but it does occasionally pass through other countries. I think it started around 1903 and has taken place each year since then – apart from during the two world wars when obviously it was suspended. The cyclists are professional riders, and the tour is gruelling. To be honest, I get very confused about how it is all timed and organised, but I do know that for each stage, the rider who has completed it in the fastest time gets to wear a yellow jersey for the next stage of the tour.
The race has fallen foul of cheating over the years, famously Lance Armstrong who won it some seven times I think was later banned for drug taking. However, more recently cycling has cleaned up its act and gained in popularity. Although I’ve never previously been interested in cycling, some of my friends are, and with such a world famous event happening on my doorstep I wouldn’t have wanted to miss out.
I was really proud to be one of the supporters on what was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see The Tour de France passing through practically on my doorstep 【I live in Sheffield】.

Describe a sport game you’ve watched
You should say:
When did you watch it什么时候看的
Where did you watch this game
Who did you watch it with和谁一起看的
And explain why did you like it为什么喜欢它
A sport game I have watched was a PINGPONG match in the Olympic Games last year. It was a match about MA LONG vs another player who I didn’t know very much.
This Olympic Games was held in Rio which was somewhere in Brazil. You know it’s too far to watch a live competition there, so I chose to take a look on the Youtube Channel on the Internet.
I remember, it was in the begining of the third year of my college that I watched this competition with my dormmates on campus. You know, we even burnt the mid-night oil to see who is the winner. That was one of my precious and definitely unforgettable moments in my school life.
The reason why I love watching this is that Malong is one of the young competiters in this biggest sports event in the world, which gave us a lot of positive energy and tapped my potential to study harder in school.

范文
I’m an extremely competitive individual and I always go great lengths to win. Failure is not an option as I’m a sore loser. When I think about a competition that appeals to me, I look no further than my favorite board game, Mahjong. In my local community a Mahjong showdown is held every year and it's fiercely competitive. People come from far and wide to participate and the stakes are very high.
The competition takes place in a park in my local neighborhood. Although Mahjong is a game that is popular with elderly people, not all the competitors in this tournament are old. In fact, the game has recently become wildly popular among younger people. I think it’s almost become fashionable to play over a glass of wine or a cup of good coffee.
The benefits of this game have been recorded and shared for many years. Not only is it known to produce better cognitive functions, Mahjong can also reduce stress and anxiety. Doctors have also reported physical health benefits to the body, so the game is a winner!
In order to get rid of the competition, I'd need to prepare for a few months before I'm able to play at the highest level. I will ask my grandfather to show me a few special techniques as he's a master of the game. I'll aim to keep my mind sharp and fresh, so I can react at lightning speed.
Describe a sports event that you took part in or watched.
You should say:
what the event was
where it was
who was competing
what happened during this competition
and explain how you felt about this event.
范文:
Ok, well I have to admit that it was quite a while ago since I took part in any sports event, because I'm not really a very sporty person, but I suppose the one that sticks in my memory the most was a sports meeting between my high school and a few others around the area.
And as for where the event was held, well seeing as I think our school had the only proper running track in the city, it was held there, and the event I was competing in was the fifteen hundred metres, basically because no one else in my class wanted to do it, you know, they said it was too far for them, so I ended up volunteering for it.
So anyway, regarding what happened during the competition, well I seem to remember at the start that most of the other competitors sprinted away, which surprised me a little, because it was quite a long distance that we had to run. So it seemed a little strange and even a bit scary seeing them run so fast - maybe it was because of the adrenaline or something. But anyway, I tried to pace myself, and after a while, the other runners started getting slower, so I was able to overtake them, and then on the last lap, I somehow managed to overtake the leader and win the race!
So if I think back to how I felt at that moment, well as you can imagine, I was over the moon, you know, super happy, because I simply had no idea I would win, and what was really great was the fact that loads of my friends and classmates were standing around the track, cheering me on. So yeah, it was a really awesome feeling.
