housework雅思口语范文

雅思口语part1话题:Housework【家务】。本题是1月口语变题季的新题,大家现在可以准备起来。

1.Do you do housework at home?

I always keep my own bedroom clean, and help my mother with the other housework

2.Do you think men and women should share housework?

Yes, I do. If both the husband and wife are working, then they should share the housework. However, if the man is working and the woman is looking after the house, then the house work should be her responsibility

3.What kinds of housework do you dislike to do?

I really hate ironing. I have burned myself so many times while ironing, and I find it really frustrating to try and get the clothes to look really good. I always end up feeling very hot and bothered

4.Did you help your parents do housework when you were young?

Yes, but not all that much. I would keep my room clean, and help to wash the dishes after eating, but that was about it.

雅思口语艺术品范文

To talk about an artwork, I couldn’t help thinking a handicraft, which was made by myself. Haha. Can I call it an artwork?

It is a scarf I made for my boyfriend.

When I was in university, my classmates were crazy about knitting things. They bought a lot of books and materials for knitting, and everyday after class, they would stay in the dormitory and knit happily. At very beginning, I was not keen to it, and thought it was boring and troublesome. But when I saw their works, I felt jealous and began to join their team.

The scarf I made was white, simple and a little bit ugly, but really useful. My boyfriend appreciated me very much.

Knitting is a kind of folk artwork in china, which is popular by women in southern china. In the past, like 20 years ago, almost every woman knows how to knit and they will do it in their spare time. A lot of daily things, such as gloves, scarves, and sweaters, even socks were made by women. People didn’t used to buy them at all.

However, it is getting less and less popular, because of the fast development of machines and the greater pressure on the shoulders of women. Nowadays, only a few women especially the elder ones will do it in their spare time, which is really pitiful.

雅思口语上学时的朋友范文

Describe a school friend you remember well,You should say,who this person was, what he/she looked like,Are there any differences between childhood friends and friends in ...

You should say:

who this person was

what he/she looked like

Part 3

Are there any differences between childhood friends and friends in adulthood?

Actually yes. First, a childhood friendship has innocence and there are easier ties to make with someone when you are younger. There are also easier ways to find things in common with another person when you are younger. When you’re older it’s kind of like having the safety net removed. Then, you can do something as a kid in a friendship and it’s either cute or brushed off. As an adult it’s a little harder because if something is misconstrued then even the most rational person can get upset.

Which do you think is better, to have a large group of friends or just a few close friends?

Definitely a few good friends. Less worry and problems to deal with. I believe in quality over quantity when it comes to close friends. I feel more comfortable hanging out with my small band of pals, and I know I can be myself and I trust them all implicitly.

Well, the way people make friends today is not much different from the way people used to. You meet someone and hang out with them and see if your personality clicks.

What do you think is the value of teaching history in school?

History always helps us to understand the present about a person, society or nation. For example, history of the Egyptian, Indian and Chinese civilizations gives us a good idea of how people lived, worked or fought in wars in the past and how the world has progressed over the centuries. Take a passion to study history you will discover that many countries have so many amazing secrets, stories and knowledge to offer. And the past can in some way help us to predict about the future.

雅思口语厨艺很好的人范文

To talk about a person who is good at cooking, I think there is no one else but my mom. She is the best cook I have ever seen. my family and I all like her cooking very much.

My mum is a popular and well-respected Chinese teacher in a middle school. She is in her 40’s now. she is neither too tall nor too short, just medium built, like a normal local woman, but with beautiful feature and fashionable clothes.

Though most of the time she is busy with her lessons and students, my mum still enjoys cooking for us in her spare time. Everyday after school, she buys vegetables and meats in the market near the school and brings them home and cooks them for us. Her cooking is always different, which gives us surprise, as well as nutrition. My father and I will help her in the kitchen sometimes, and the happiest time of my family is always dinner time. We can taste delicious food and share each other the interesting things of the day.

My mum’s favorite dish is scrambled eggs with tomatoes, which is the best one I have ever tasted.

That is all I want to say about this.
