App

对于一个资深的phubber【低头族】,如果你对一个App了如指掌【know this App like the back of your hand】,那么可以走写实路线。
I'd like to talk about Alipay, which is like an e-wallet for me, and in fact, it's much more than a wallet. It has incredible features and functions than you can't even imagine.
First of all, it's like a savings account. Interest rate is much higher than that in a bank. So every month when I get the pocket money from my parents, I would put them all in this APP, which turns out to be a wise choice, ‘cause I already get more than 200 RMB of interest payment.
And also, it's a quicker way to pay bills, like phone bill and gas bills. And now most shops and restaurants accept Alipay, so I don't even have to carry cash around, all I need is my smart phone. I just need to scan the QR code and confirm the transaction.
Besides those amazing functions, I can also use it to buy movie tickets, lottery tickets, train and flight tickets. Oh! And book hotels. So you can see, it's really a great helper in my daily life.
On top of that, it can also serve as a credit card, I mean, you can “borrow” the money from the APP, and pay back the next month, which is much more convenient than a credit card.
The best part is, it can help me keep track of where my money goes, so that I can have a better control of my money.
So, that's what makes it a very useful App.
The most positive change for me is that I started to keep track of where my money went so that I could have a better control of my money, and I could be thrifty. It all started when someone recommended an App for me, which is called Alipay. It's more like an e-wallet that I could use to pay all kinds of bills, but the most amazing part is, it recorded all of my transactions. The first time I saw the details of my bills, I was shocked by the amount of money I spent on useless stuff. For example, I once paid XXX for a XX 【败家的各位请自行填写】, which was totally insane. So I realized, I needed to cut down on those meaningless cost, and that's when the positive change started.
I used to be extravagant, and I had no idea where I spent my money, I mean, I didn't even remember what I'd bought. But now, every time I have my eye on something, I would ask myself, “Is it worth the money?” or “Is it really necessary?”
So you see, now I've become frugal, and I come to realize that money doesn't grow on trees. And I stopped spending money carelessly.
So it's fair to say that's the positive change for me.
The best way to save money for me is to pay bills online, ‘cause I could enjoy a discount no matter what I do. I don't even have to take my wallet anymore. There are many Apps now that would regularly send users coupons. The competition between companies has brought lots of benefits to customers.
I remember once, I took a taxi without paying anything.
I'm a huge fan of travel. Before I used my smart phone, booking a flight ticket would cost me a lot, for example, a ticket from XXX to XXX cost about 2000 RMB, but ever since all those Apps were invented, I could save up to 500 RMB on the tickets per trip, which is a huge number to a student like me.
Paying food in a restaurant with Apps can also save me a great deal of money. Last time when I ate out with my girlfriend in a fancy restaurant, we only spent less than 300 RMB, ‘cause when I use Alipay in my phone, it automatically gave me a 20% discount.
Because of this new way of payment, I saved lots of money, so that I could do more things.

Describe a useful APP on phones, computers or tablets you know.
You should say:
what the app is
how long you have used it
what it is used for
and explain why you think it is useful.
Sample answer:
Well, there is one app in my iPad that I use it on a daily basis. It is called Runtastic, built to help people track sports and fitness activities, such as running, jogging, biking and walking. I got this app one year ago, and actually was recommended by Apple Store that put it in the front page. Every night, before I sleep, I will do a series of physical exercises with my iPad, and the app will track all my progress and save my results in the website.
What makes the app so useful is that not only it has the physical exercises for me, but it also has several methods to encourage and motivate me to insist. You know, doing workouts everyday is really a boring job, and the app will remind me to continue my plan at the appropriate time and all my work will be shared in the social network, which will attract my friends to encourage me, too. In addition, the app will make a variety of statistic charts to show how many calories I have consumed for a period of time, and moreover, I can check whether I have lost my weight, which is a very practical function.
当然,重复最基本的语法错误也是不能容忍的,譬如“she”说成“he”,“I am”说“I is”等。
1. Stereotyped Answers
比如说,当学生一进门,考官说“How are you?” And you?”
2. Redundant Colloquial Phrases
比如说“It’s going to rain. What am I supposed to do with my party tonight?” “Well, in that case, we will probably hold it indoors.” 比如说 “What’s your major?” “You know, international politics”.
3. Telling the Truth
