1.Where is your hometown?/ Where do you come from?

I come from Guangzhou. My parents have been living here for the past thirty years or so. I grew up here and attended a well-known high school called Zhixin High School. We live in a nice area with many shops, restaurants, and other businesses.

2.What are the things you dislike about your hometown?

I guess the answer would be the economy. My hometown is not near the centre of the city,its economy is bad.Some areas are pretty run-down.Pepole in my hometown are not rich and the living condition is not very good.Even worsely its economy is shrinking instead of growing cas the peaches sell not very well in recent years.I think maybe the quality of the peaches drops is the reason,you know,its taste is not as good as before,so less and less people buy peaches.

我想答案应该是经济吧。我家乡离城市中心不是很近，经济很差，有的地方特别的差。我们家乡的人们都不富裕，居住条件也不是很好。甚至更糟糕的是，经济水平不升反降，因为近些年桃子买的不是很好。我想大概是桃子的质量下降，你知道，它们口味不如以前，越来越少的人买桃子了。

Yep,I pretty like my hometown coz the environment there is beautiful and clean.you can hardly see any rubbish in the street.And the weather there is comfortable and extremely suit to live.moreover，the local residents are friendly and approachable.

You know, my hometown is a famous fabulous seaside city—Zhuhai. It is famous for its beautiful beaches and delicious seafood. Besides, the cityscape is gorgeous. I really like my hometown not only because its beautiful landscape but also the laid back lifestyle.

5.Is that a big city or a small place?

It is the capital of Zhejiang province, but compared to others, it's not so big. I like it because there're many famous universities in the city, so sometimes I can go around there to enjoy the campus life with the students. Also, I can enjoy many public facilities, such as the big public libraries and many beautiful parks.

suppose traveling helps to relieve my stress from work, especially after a whole busy year, a nice trip really works miracles. It gives me a fresh start. Besides, during traveling, I have a chance to meet new people whose life experiences and stories could definitely expand my vision.

Well, it’s hard to say why some people don’t like it, because there are various reasons. Firstly, I suppose safety is what they’ve concerned most about. Travelers are more likely to be targets of muggings, pick-pockets, attacks, etc., because they appear more vulnerable in strange places. Especially during high season, in some hot tourist spots, cases about travelers being stolen, mugged or attacked become quite common. And the other reason is that may be some people couldn’t get used to the climate, the food and the local environment of a new place, they feel more comfortable staying at home. Moreover, perhaps a tight budget deters them from starting a vacation, after all, traveling means spending.

3. What are benefits of traveling?

And through traveling we have a chance to widen our perspective. To view new customs, different ways of living is fantastic for the mind. It gives us a new and different angle to see the world. When we travel, we can experience exotic cultures and try new food, I mean, to further discover what this wonderful world offers.

1.Do you keep plants at home?

yes, i have some potted plants on the balcony that are well taken care of and also a small bouquet of flowers at my bedside.

2.What plant did you grow when you were young?

I didn't grow any plants myself but i helped my grandparents grow some vegetables during summer holidays.He was a good vegetable farmer living in the countryside and i would do some watering and weeding.

3.Do you know anything about growing a plant?

Not quite,but i will try to list some.Before planting, The soil need to be well ploughed and well draining. For most vegetables to grow,water regularly but make sure the soil is never soggy. Fertiliser is important and the organic kind is best.My grandpa prefered manure.

4.Do Chinese people send plants as gifts?

Yes, like anywhere in the world, people like to send flowers as gifts at differents occasions. Rose for lovers, Carnation for recovery of patients, lily for the long lasting friendships.

My favorite celebrity is Jay Chou who is an outstanding singer and also an actor in China.I was attracted by his special style of singing when I was in primary school. His songs are unique and he has opened up a new era of music.

Yes,I do.My favorite foreign celebrity is Robert Downey Jr,who is the leading role in the movie .He is Very handsome and his smile is captivating.

Well, who doesn’t? Just kidding, but I mean it could be nice to be someone and get all the attention for a while. Having said that, staying famous is another thing. It could be exhausting to always be in the spotlight and be the topic for everyone to discuss, so, while I’d appreciate and enjoy the experience of getting famous, I guess I just don’t have what it takes to live and work as a celebrity.

4.Do you think we should protect famous people's privacy?

Of course,we should protect their privacy. Famous people have borne too much pressure of public opinion,and they also need personal life space. Being a celebrity is just a choice of their occupation, they also need privacy and the life of common people.

5.How do celebrities inflience their fans in China?

They influence their fans in different ways,such as the preference of choosing clothes or hair styles. Some fans even buy the commodities that represented by their idols whether they need or not.

6.Have you ever seen any celebrity in public?

When I was a student in university, I went to several live music concerts held on campus. There were famous artists performing in those concerts so, to answer your question, yes, I have seen some celebrities, literally, but I have never had a chance to meet or talk with any of them in person.
