雅思换题月每一次更换的题目大概是淘汰30%到40%的旧题,并且补充相应数量的新题,大家在备考雅思口语的时候,一定要根据雅思口语话题的变化来变更自己的机经版本。
1. What can smartphones do these days?
Well, smartphones are, after all, phones, so they can basically meet all the expectations we should have for ordinary mobile phones. That is to say, we can still use a smartphone to send text messages or make phone calls. However, smartphones are more than that. For example, we can use a wide range of smartphone applications, which have all kinds of functions, from offering discounts tohelping us keep fit. Besides, smartphones can always access internet, which means we can search literally for everything at anytime with smartphones. This sounded like science fiction in the past, but offers great convenience at present.
2. Since most people do their work on computers, why do they still need to go to the offices?
Well, I have to say, although computers can help us work out most problems, there are still many things, which need to be discussed face-to-face, so offices provide an ideal place for colleagues to meet and consult with each other. Besides, for some people, homes are very cozy and private places, not suitable for working, so they would rather commute to offices than bring work home, even though digital technologies have made remote workingavailable. Having said those, a trend of working from home as well as working flexible hours has become increasingly more popular. I think this should be attributed to the use of computer technology.

Describe something interesting you learnt from the Internet.
You should say:
what you learnt
which website you learnt it from
how you learnt it
and explain why you think what you learnt was interesting.
My friend Amy is a travel-holic and is constantly on the road. When I told her my trip plan to Indonesia, she introduced me this travel website called Couch surfing. Technically, it doesn’t tell you anything about your destinations. But what it does is it lists the names and profiles of people who are happy to show you around their city and provide local perspectives.
How it works is simple. You just send a request to potential hosts and if it is accepted, then you can get to sleep on their couch, or sometimes in their bed. What’s more attractive is they are all for free. The aim of the website wasn’t to make money but to provide a platform for people who are interested in exchanging their languages, cultures, and making new friends from different backgrounds.
The most valuable lesson I learnt from the site is to share. After staying for two days at my Indonesian host’s place, I was so impressed by the family’s hospitality. Even though they didn’t have much, they offered me all they had. My stay with them completely changed the way I treat strangers and my view toward sharing.

Describe a film you enjoyed.
You should say:
what the film is
when and where you watched
what it is about
and explain why you enjoyed it.
I’m not a regular cinema-goer, I prefer the comfort and convenience of watching movies in my own home, where I can download them and view them on my TV. However, occasionally there is a film that I feel I must watch on the big screen, the most recent of which was Transformers 4: Age of Extinction.
It’s the newest film in the Transformers franchise, which is based on old toys that were made in the ‘80s. They tell the story of massive robots that can transform into different machines, like tanks or fire trucks, and fight battles on Earth. In this instalment, evil robots that look like dinosaurs, called Dinobots, battle it out against the good robots, called Autobots.
The film was released in the summer of 2014, the time of the year when a lot of big blockbusters are brought out because it’s the school holidays, so they can make more money. I chose to watch the film in a 3D IMAX cinema. Nothing beats the experience of seeing a big budget movie on a huge screen, with the characters popping out at you. The sound system at the cinema is also amazing, with surround sound making you feel like you’re in the centre of the action.
Although the story wasn’t all that great, I loved the action sequences and the special effects. Some of the film was also shot in China and the Chinese actress Li BingBing made an appearance, so even though it was a Hollywood movie, I could relate to it more easily.

Describe an advertisement that you saw or heard or liked
You should say:
Where you saw or heard it
What kind of advertisement it was
What the content of the advertisement was 【or, what product /service was advertised】
and explain how you felt about this advertisement/ why you liked it.
There are several types of advertisements that we see daily on TV, billboards, through the Internet, social networking sites, mobile applications, and mobile games. Many of them are very banal, full of marketing speech and kind of boring while others are average and their primary focus is to express the positive sides of a product to increase the sales. Finally, quite a few of them are creative, informative, humorous, fascinating and memorable.
I usually do not like to watch advertisement between a movie/ TV programme and large commercial breaks are quite annoying to me. I personally think that the best way of advertising is using billboards, which can lead you to remember the brand name forever without actually annoying you.
Well, the best advertisement I have ever seen that I still like for its uniqueness was on a highway in the United Arab Emirates and I really liked the idea of this advertisement. One day while passing the main road a big billboard caught my eyes. It was designed to look like the filtration zone of a cigarette which is commonly known as the cigarette butt. The large billboard was quite different in shape and it presented the message ‘Stop smoking even Marlboro’ quite visibly.
I stole a glance at the billboard and thought about the message it conveyed. I actually did not think much and forgot about it. After an hour I found myself in front of a beach with a packet of Marlboro cigarette in my pocket. While I was lighting a cigarette, I was wondering why I bought a packet of Marlboro? It is usually not my brand! To my surprise, I realised that the advertisement that I saw on the road had an immense effect on my psychology unconsciously. I was convinced that the billboard had forced me to buy that brand unconsciously. I think it was the first time I realised how advertisements can target people's unconscious mind. Technically speaking this is the moment I realised that the best way to influence people’s buying behaviour is to use their unconscious mind instead of trying to deliver marketing speeches. When I thought more to analyse the billboard advertising and its effect on me, I realised that the advertiser tried to use reverse advertising techniques by delivering the message that Marlboro is less dangerous and smokers who wish to quit smoking should try this. Possibly all smokers- from light smokers to heavy ones, wish a day without smoking though many of them do not try hard. Then the billboard advertisement was pretending as if they were broadcasting an important public safety message. Moreover, they used a fascinating design on the billboard that would actually grab anyone's attention. As you can see, they were quite successful as I still remember this advert very vividly and I like this advertisement due to the creative thinking of the maker.
