My favorite piece of clothing is a cheongsam which is a kind of traditional female dress with distinctive Chinese features. Although this kind of female dress could date back to, ah, let me see, probably Qing Dynasty, it really enjoys a growing popularity in the international world of high fashion as well as common people's everyday lives in China.

I received this dress from my grandma on last Spring Festival. To be quite honest with you, it was a big surprise since I was so used to the red envelops 【with cash inside】 from her. So, as you could imagine, how pleasantly surprised I was! Well, it's a light pink one since grandma knew that red was just not my cup of tea.

1.How important are clothes and fashion to you?

I’m not that much worried about clothing or fashion. I believe that clothing gives a decent looks and make people presentable before all. So, regarding attires I actually prefer less gorgeous clothes but it should not be interpreted like the way that I should be too shabby to feel shy meeting people with the attires. Comfort is my first priority while choosing my costume.

2.How different are the clothes you wear now from those you wore 10 years ago?

Well, there are not too many differences. People now prefer shorter clothes while the length was a bit more 10 years ago. The fashion has also been influenced with the western themes which was absent in that past. For me, I used to wear casual dresses mostly- a pair of jeans, a pair shoes and T-shirts were my most common dresses but these days I prefer to wear more formal dresses.

3.What do you think the clothes we wear say about us?

Yes, clothes say a lot about us. When we are in worn out attires, usually people won’t look at us or pay the right attention, while they will adore us unexpectedly when we are in a stunning suit. So, I firmly believe that clothes say many things in our favor. The type of dresses someone wears gives hints about his social, economical, and job status. The colour preferences and style in dresses also reflects someone’s lifestyle and personality.

4.What kind of clothes do you dislike? Why?

I dislike clothes which are too stunning and made with the use of eye-irritating colors. I like simple but attractive clothes which will make me look good and nice. I believe the colorful clothes do not make me look nice rather makes me looking strange. Besides, I dislike unfit clothes as well.

4. I feel that my clothes and fashion play largely into who I am as a person. They allow me to express myself and my mood with out saying anything. My sense of style allows me to make a statement, and when I'm wearing an outfit that I feel extra confident in - it just boosts my self esteem.

Fashion is a passion of mine, and I truely feel it is a complex art form - and for this reason I have a great respect for it. 雅思口语考试需要注意的问题

1、只会使用单个单词

只会说单个单词。比如当考官问你work or study时，很多烤鸭只会说work或者study，而不会说完整的句子。比如：I’m still undergraduate, majoring advertising.

解决方法：

建议大家在回答问题的时候，最起码也要使用完整的句子来进行表达，因为这也是表现尊重的一个方法，尽量避免使用单个单词。

2、面无表情“机器人”

其实雅思口语考试在考试学生英语词汇等能力的同时，考量的也是学生对口语的使用，而很多烤鸭的问题就是没有办法和考官面对面的交流，表情僵硬，更要命的是在说到part2的时候，通过自己的表情明显的告诉考官【我在背答案】，而导致扣分。

解决方法：

建议烤鸭们即使是使用模板，也要自己进行部分的改变和理解记忆，这样的话表情起码不会非常僵硬。

3、考官口音听不清

雅思考试中考官不仅有欧美人，更有澳洲，或者其他国籍，有时候因为考官自身的口音问题，导致烤鸭们无法听清问题，这个时候，如果只会单独的说一个pardon?大概会让考官不快，或者认为你的语言能力不行。

解决方案：

当你没有听清这个问题的时候，不要直接告诉考官【我不懂你说什么】，最好是能够使用一些“套话”的方法，来和考官进行确认。

比如当你没有听懂有些表达的时候，你可以这么说：

Excuse me but could you explain what you mean by ……

I didn’t get you just now, could you explain it again for me ?

Sorry but I didn’t quite catch that/ I didn’t come across that , could you say that again?

如果你不确定考官的意思，或者不确定自己说的到底对不对，那么就这么说：

Do you mean…… cause I’m not exactly sure.

If I understand right, ……

使用这些较为婉转的方法，来和考官进行确认，不要太担心你没有听懂这些会不会让考官觉得你能力不够，因为你有能够将自己的错漏“圆”回来，这也是一种不错的能力呢~

4、单一语法与结构

前面说到的part2部分很多烤鸭会选择背模板，在背诵的同时只能够进行单一语法和句子结构的表达使用，比如只能使用陈述句，祈使句，被动句等等用法都无法使用，并且只能选择使用一般现在时，句子结构和语法都相对单一，就很容易造成失分。

解决方案：

模板并不是一定不能背，关键是要能够取长补短的进行运动，即使是part2部分，不妨也使用总-分的结构进行陈述，尤其注意的是，一定要在答案中加上自己的看法，如果能够说出曾经的经历，有了自己的思考，那就更好了。

比如在说到food这个话题的时候，可以先说favorite food is XXX, once when I was……，Can you imagine? The food is made of ……， I hope I can still …… in the future.

其实即使是很简单的表述，也可以通过混合方法，来加强句子和段落之间的复杂程度，加深自己句法和语法表达能力。

共享单车，最常见的说法是shared bikes, 在一些新闻报道中也会说bikes-for-hire，大家可以选取自己喜欢的一种来表述。

使用共享单车的过程：

To use the shared bikes, we first need to download and install the apps on our phones.

You’ll be able to see available bikes nearby once you open the app, with the locations marked on the map.

Find the available bikes using the map.

Then, We just need to scan the QR code attached to the bikes, and they will unlock themselves. The mobile app will start the timer automatically.

After we reach our destination, we need to manually lock the bikes.

The mobile app will stop the timer and calculate the cost.

Just leave it so that it won't block the roads and streets. Also, riding bikes can promote a low-carbon lifestyle, which can reduce air pollution and make our making environment better.
