The first thing you need to look at is the previous sales- the higher the sales are, the better the quality. Yet, the online shop could have faked the sales, so you also need to look at the reviews. The most important thing, perhaps, is to check the rating of the shop, because it takes a long time to build the credibility of that. The last thing to bear in mind is that if the price of something is exceptional low, it is highly likely to be a trap. For example, some shops sell Rolex Watch at 100 yuan. That is clearly a copy-cat.

To talk about a person who has influenced me the most, I think there is none other but my father. Working as a government official, he doesn’t appear to be extraordinary in any way, but just working faithfully and peacefully raising his family, never putting his family or children aside. Yet however regular he may look, he is never ordinary to me, because I’ve learned many of the most basic and important life lessons from him: family, responsibility, accountability, faithfulness, vision and fulfilling goals, etc.—he is the first and best teacher in my life. As to influence, people all influence one another in one way or another during their contact. But as to whether my father has influenced other people as much as he does to me, I am not sure. Nevertheless I always hear people in the neighborhood talking about him as a model husband and family head. He must have touched some lives.

As I am purposefully trying to avoid the danger of generalization, I can only tell you that there are definitely some people who are very easily influenced by materials things, while it is also certain that there are people who are not so easily influenced by material things; they often tend to have strong personal values.

People’s characters depend on many things, including their experiences, relationships, health and financial situations. As these things change over time, so we also see people’s character’s change.

Last month was a terrible month for me and my classmates since we got 3 deadlines clashed in one week. My roommates and I all stayed up late every night before that horrible week. Just 12 hours before the deadline, I still had 2500 words to write and several English articles to recite【背诵】. I had to drink several cups of coffee to prevent me from falling asleep and I finally finished my essay before six oclock. However, I had got to sit the English oral test before I handed in my essay and the test began early in the morning. I had no other options but only slept for an hour and then got up at 7 oclock to review my oral presentation. To tell you the truth, that feeling sucked. I got to the test room ten minutes before its start and I could think of nothing since I didnt get enough sleep. With the time passing by, I felt into desperation【绝望】 and I could hardly speak out a whole sentence. Its my worst test performance in the history. After the test, I went to faculty office to hand in my essay, but the copy machine there didnt work. What an day! That was really the most hectic【忙乱的】 and memorable experience for me, and I learn a lesson that I should prepare everything early and have a good rest on the important day.
