Speaking of a person who moves to a new accommodation, I just think of my friend Linda. Her neighbor frequently played his music excessively loud, which rattles the change off her coffee table. She spoke to him repeatedly and he always turns it down to merely loud. But then turns it back up within the hour.She said she couldn't stand her downstairs neighbor any more so she changed her living place. Now her new neighbors are about 70 years old and they are very quiet. She stays at college most of the time. They don’t have anything in common and just say “hi” when they meet.

The new accommodation she moves to is in a suburb. Linda has to drive 20 minutes to go to the grocery store. But she doesn't mind it because she can live in a bigger than before. When she looks out of the window, she can see the flowers and cute birds flying in the sky. The only thing should be improved of her new accommodation is the blue-color stars all over the walls. Although they glow in the dark, during the day they make her feel depressed. Therefore, she plans to add some posters on them.

This topic reminds me of an experience of moving house taking place 13 years ago when I was to enter the primary school.It happened that the headquarter of my father’s company was relocated; so he had to change the working place from the small city we lived to the provincial city Jinan.

It was a long-distance moving, so we borrowed a van from the relative. We took most of the furniture we could carry and left some big ones like the bed and wardrobe. It was quite unforgettable experience to me, because that’s the first time I left the flat we lived fornearly 7 years.

One day later, we settled down in a more spacious flat with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a small kitchen and a beautiful balcony with French windows. I went to a famous primary school with good teaching quality and fame. Currently, my parents and I still live there.

That was the only time of house moving I experienced, but it changed my life thoroughly.

My father works for the Nigerian government and thus we needed to shift in the new house frequently. It was 2012 when we moved into a new house in Abuja. Before moving to this house, we were in Benin city in Nigeria. I liked the house in Abuja and it was well furnished and spacious than the former house in Benin City. This is a pretty nice cue card task for me and I will answer the other questions in brief.

We moved to Abuja as my father was transferred to this city with his responsibilities on a government job for collecting revenue for the government. It was impossible for him to continue office between the two cities. So, he shifted with the other family members in Abuja and arranged for a new home for us. We also were happy with the new home, particularly for the extended space.

I moved with my parents and two other siblings. In fact, we were mentally prepared from the moment we heard that father got a transfer. In line with shifting the house, we also had to change our schools. It was really a trouble for us, especially for our father. Almost every year, he had to manage seats for us in a new school where he intended to shift. Besides, it was really expensive as well to move the furniture and other home appliances from one city to another.

Initially, I felt irritating to move house from one place to another. But after a couple of years, we all were habituated. But now I do not have any such problems as I am a university student now and live in the dormitory. My family is still living in Abuja and my dad will retire soon. So, I am feeling relaxed a bit now.

Well, I'd like to talk about the first time I moved to a big house.

When I was little, well, during primary school, I used to live in a super small apartment. There was only one living room and a bathroom, no bedrooms or kitchen at all. We slept, cooked, ate and watched TV in the same room, you can imagine how cramped it was, right?

But after my father became a professor, things started to get better. Every month, he made much more money to support us, and gradually, we moved to a bigger apartment in a much better equipped community.

And it was also the first time I had my own bedroom, and I could finally decorate my little space as I wanted. And if I want to spend time alone, I could have some me-time in my room.

Living in such a spacious apartment can really give me a good mood. And the views outside my bedroom window are pretty attractive. There are flowers and greenery growing in my community, so it's just like a small garden downstairs. Every morning, I could go jogging in the neighborhood, which is quite refreshing. It's the best way to start a day, you know.

So thanks to this new apartment, I feel like my quality of life has improved dramatically.
