最全雅思口语范文搬家篇一:搬家/转学

You should say:

When did you move

Where did you move to

Why did you move

And explain how did you feel about that

参考范文:

I transferred to another school for just once when I was a grade three student in primary school. Actually I was forced by my mom; according to her I could receive high-grade English education in the new school while I did not want to leave my friends and teachers in the first place.

Sadly, I wasn’t the one to make the final call. On the very scorching morning in September I remembered clearly, my parents helped me to get enrolled in a private school in the inner suburb of Nanjing. The distance was not the most stimulating part of the whole story, for a 10-years-old pupil, how to live well in a boarding school was the biggest challenge.

To tell you the truth I was extremely excited to hear that I needed to live in the school for five days a week. No doubt that meant I could be completely ‘free’ from my parents. In the first three days everything went well; I had to adjust myself to the new environment and hardly had time to think of my dad and mom temporarily. However on the fourth day of my ‘independent’ campus life, when I saw one of my roommates crying on her bed at night, the greatest sadness was approaching towards me and I could not help crying loudly as well. I thought I was being too childish at the time so I seldom allow myself to recall that evening. When I looked back on my days in the boarding school I still felt grateful cause I not only learnt knowledge there but also mastered lots of living skills and obtained lifelong friendship.

最全雅思口语范文搬家篇二:一个搬到你所在城市的人

A person you know is planning to move to your town or city.

What do you think this person would like and dislike about living in your town or city? Why?

Model Answer:

I am from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. It is a very beautiful city that attracts many people every year. My close friend is going to move here after her graduation. She already found a job and she asked me to help her with an apartment. Knowing her very well I think I can enumerate the majority of things she will like and dislike about my city.

First of all, I believe she will like a huge amount of museums, theatres, movie theatres, etc. My friend is from a small town, so, she can not enjoy all these benefits at her native town. Second of all, it seems to me that she will like the way people live here. The pace of life is much faster here then in a small town. People are always in a hurry, they try to catch a bus, and then they run to the nearest subway station, go to an office, meet new people, etc. Also, I think my friend will like people here. They are very friendly and ready to offer a help to those in need.

Unfortunately, my friend will not surely like some things. As a result of a huge amount of cars and factories the air is polluted here. One more thing she will definitely not like is the weather. It is quite humid here.

However, I think she will also like the public transport here. The bus services are run by the Government and it is quite regular. If one in a hurry he can take a taxi, which also is quite cheap and provide a good transport.

In conclusion, I believe that in spite of all mentioned above disadvantages she will like this city.

雅思口语范文篇三:Experience of moving house

This topic reminds me of an experience of moving house taking place 13 years ago when I was to enter the primary school. It happened that the headquarter of my father’s company was relocated; so he had to change the working place from the small city we lived to the provincial city Jinan.

It was a long-distance moving, so we borrowed a van from the relative. We took most of the furniture we could carry and left some big ones like the bed and wardrobe. It was quite unforgettable experience to me, because that’s the first time I left the flat we lived fornearly 7 years.

One day later, we settled down in a more spacious flat with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a small kitchen and a beautiful balcony with French windows. I went to a famous primary school with good teaching quality and fame. Currently, my parents and I still live there.

That was the only time of house moving I experienced, but it changed my life thoroughly.

雅思口语范文篇四:Your home

1.Where do you live?

I live on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, in a district called Tan Phu, about 15 km from the city centre.

2.Do you live in a house or a flat?

I live in a 3 bedroom flat on the 11th floor of a big apartment building.

3.Who do you live with?

I live there with my wife and little baby son.

4.Is it a big place?

It’s pretty big for a flat. It has 3 large bedrooms, one for my wife and I and one for my son when he gets older. It also has a smaller bedroom that I use as a study and to store things in. The kitchen is small but it is part of a big open plan living room, so there is lots of space for the family.

5.What is your favourite room?

That would have to be my study because it’s the only room that I can get peace and quiet in. When I’m in there my wife knows I’m working, so she leaves me alone and I can concentrate on my work.

6.How is your apartment decorated?

I don’t like lots of over the top decoration, so I guess you would describe it as minimalist. The walls are all white and the furniture is also either white or black. There are very few ornaments or pictures because again, I like to keep things quite minimal and I hate clutter.

7.Is there anything you would like to change about your flat?

I would like to have a big balcony. We have a sort of balcony at the moment, but we mainly use it for washing and drying clothes. It would be really nice to have some tables and chairs on a proper balcony, with maybe a few plants, so we could sit there in the evenings and relax.

8.Do you plan to live there for a long time?

I really like where I live but it is really far from where I work in the centre of town. It takes around 45 minutes to drive there by motorbike and in the hot season and wet season it can be really uncomfortable, so we will consider moving closer to the centre in a year or so.

9.Do you have a garden?

That’s the best part of where we live, we have a huge garden. It takes around 40 minutes to walk around it. It has a few play parks for the kids, a number of gyms and four small lakes. We are really lucky to have it and I try to go for a walk around it every day, if I have time.
