雅思口语part2话题参考范文
I am raising an Alaska dog, which is a large breed of domestic dog. My dog has a double coat:the undercoat is soft while the outer one is coarse and water-proof. Also, his coat hastwo colors, black and white.
我养了一只阿拉斯加狗,它是一种大型的家养狗。我的狗毛是双层毛皮:内层柔软,而外面的则是粗糙和防水的。而且,他的毛皮也有颜色,黑色和白色。
In my opinion, his most attractive feature is the small upright ears which are out of proportion to the head. Having had this dog for almost a year, I find him intriguing. He is very smart, so he learns everything quickly. I once taught him how to fetch. Surprisingly enough, he successfully chased and retrieved the object after I tossed it for the second time. He acted as if he had intrinsically understood the game. He is also friendly to everyone, especially children. Whenever someone visits my house, instead of barking, he welcomes them by licking their feet.
For me, my dog is a friend I can play with after school. I often walk him around the park at the weekends and he seems to like this, as there are different dogs there. I also talk with himregularly and I feel that he can understand what I say. As a final point, I hope that my dog can live with me for a long time.
Describe an environment law.
You should say:
what it is
how you first learned about it
who benefits from it
and explain how you feel about this law.
These days the environment really is a hot topic, especially in China. Big cities, such as Beijing, are notorious for having a lot of pollution. Sometimes, in winter, the smog is so bad that you can’t see the end of the street!
Because of this, the government has been trying to reduce the levels of pollution with certain environmental policies and laws. They have said they are declaring war on pollution, by putting bosses in jail if their companies do not reduce harmful emis-sions and removing a limit on the amount of money companies can be fined for causing too much pollution.
I’m not that familiar with the topic, but I remember first reading about the new laws in the newspaper and on the internet. As I said, the environment is a big deal nowa-days, so this sort of thing is front page news.
In the long run, everybody benefits from this kind of law. On the one hand, compa-nies may lose money by closing their factories or reducing production, but on the other hand they are helping to make the world a cleaner and healthier place to live. Not only ourselves, but also future generations will benefit from having less pollution.
I don’t think anyone could argue against these laws. Some people may think that they do not go far enough or that they will not be enforced, but I feel they are better than nothing. Everyone should do their bit to reduce emissions and keep our skies blue.

Describe a gift that took you a long time to prepare.
You should say:
when it happened
what the gift is
why it took you so long to choose
and explain how he or she reacted to your gift.
I pride myself on finding the best presents, especially when they’re for my nearest and dearest. One present I’m particularly proud of was for my girlfriend on her 25th birthday. It was an extra-special moment as it was also near the time of our 5th anniversary. I wanted to buy her something that meant something to both of us and had that personal touch.
I put a lot of thought into it and, after chewing it over, I eventually chose to give her a picture using an enlarged photograph of us both, that was taken while we were on holiday in Shanghai. It was a very special moment for us both, so I knew it would have sentimental value to her.
But that wasn’t the half of it, next I had to pick out a frame for the picture. My girlfriend is a notoriously picky person, so I knew I had to get
Luckily the frame I opted for was right on the money. When she unwrapped the gift, her eyes lit up, she was elated and gave me a big kiss. For the rest of the day, she was beaming and I couldn’t wipe the smile of her face. Now the picture takes pride of place in our bedroom, so I know that she really does love it!
