学习效率【study efficiency】,这个话题对于广大的烤鸭党来说,其实还是挺有现实意义的,谁没有熬夜复习过,熬夜游戏过,早起复习过呢?
参考范文:
As students, we have to study almost every day. However, not everybody knows how to study efficiently.Do you want to know better about it?
There is some relationships between the study efficiency and the hours spent in studying in a day.In fact, more hours of study do not necessarily result in better or higher study efficiency. It is said that the optimum of efficiency comes when one studies about 5 hours and the efficiency begins to drop as he studies longer than it. By the time when one studies 11 hours per day, his efficiency of study becomes very poor.
In conclusion, there is always a maximum of efficiency and an appropriate amount of time for study in a day. More time spent in study doesn’t always mean greater efficiency.

雅思口语怎样描述学习效率
Q1:Do you prefer to study in the morning or in the evening?
If you choose to be a morning person, you could say——
active, acute, efficient, energetic
Night sleep refreshes me.
A版本1:For me, the best time to study is the fresh morning, which I feel suitable for concentration. In the morning, my mind is usually relaxed and more carefree. I study with an energized and open mind. The sunlight is also pretty great.
Early in the morning my body is fully relaxed and I am totally fresh. All the tensions in my mind were overrun by a good sleep and my mind is totally free from all worries. Fresh air of the morning makes me feel comfortable and I feel extra power in my body.
If you choose to be an evening person, you could say——
owl/night owl, burn the midnight oil
A版本2:I prefer studying in the evening, cuz it's the quietest period and no one will bother me.The atmosphere is very calm with minimal disturbance.
I prefer night studies as my brain is more active during nights. Waking up early in the morning, however, is a difficult task for me.
At night, my day has wound down. I use the usually quieter environment to my advantage. The nights have a generally better atmosphere for my study.
Q2:Why do some people find it difficult to focus in the morning?
stay up
burn the mid-night oil
sleep-deprived
insomnia
sleeping problem
biological clock
skip breakfast
A2:Everyone has a daily energy cycle. For some people the peak comes during the morning. For others it comes in the afternoon or evening. Probably they'd better save tasks requiring more energy for their sharper hours.
Q3:What do you do to improve your efficiency?
enough sleep and rest
healthy diets
regular exercise
create good study habits
establish a study zone
make study time a part of my daily routine
find a study partner
take short breaks
minimize computer use and the Internet
Eight hours' sleep must be guaranteed.
方案1:Whenever I read, my mind keeps cool and alert. If I feel sleepy or tired, I simply keep books aside and sleep. Because it is useless to read in such cases as nothing goes into brain.
方案2:When I find myself struggling with staying focused or about to doze off, I have a break for physical activity or a cold shower. They are extremely refreshing for both the body and mind.
方案3:I usually avoid eating a heavy meal before studying. A heavy meal would make me sleepy so that it becomes more difficult to study. For me, small and frequent meals are good alternatives.
方案4:Since I decided to study in the morning/evening, I've established a study routine. Finally, I believe my body has got used to it and I can get the best study performance possible. So, all that I do is pick one period and stick with it.
雅思口语描述去过的国家
1、part2 9分范文
I suppose I should begin by highlighting the point of where this country is. In actual fact, the countries that I have visited so far can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Among those, India is the one that truly amazed me by many factors. India has a very long history, the country is very big and has the second largest population in the world. I guess this is why there are so much to see.
For me, one of the most interesting places in India is The Ganges River, which is well – known as the longest and holiest river in India. While most rivers around the world are for recreation or sports, the Ganges has many other functions. As the Indians believe, that the river is holy, people come here to pray and wash themselves in its water. In addition, the river also has thousands of people who wash their clothes by beating them on rocks. The other thing that often impresses tourist is the unique architect of Hindu temples all over India and visitors can enter at any time. The temples are usually immense and have antique statutes that are thousands of years old. Visitors are also welcome to eat and sleep in the temples at night if they have no place to go.
After all, I have to say that paying this beautiful country the second visit in future is one of the prioritized items on my bucket list.

雅思口语描述一本书
You should say:
What is the name of the book
what type of book it is
how you knew this book
and explain why you like to recommend this book to your friend
范文参考:
One of the books that I have recently read is called At Home: A Short History of Private Life by an author called Bill Bryson. It is a thick, factual bookabout many different subjects. It is really a collection of information and anecdotes related to our private lives, past and present.
The book is mainly about things that have been included in our homes over the centuries. The author started out by wondering about the history of everything in his own home. As it is a factual book rather than a novel, it does not have a plot as such. Each chapter in the book covers the history of a particular room. For example, the chapter on the kitchen talks about the history of running water, electricity, gas cooking and so on. The chapter aboutthe bathroom looks at the history of plumbing, sanitation and privacy. The bookcontains so much interesting information that I think I will have to read it again in order to take it all in.
As to the kind of people who would enjoy it, I think anybody who is interested in history and enjoys learning lots of interesting facts would enjoy reading this book. It would also appeal to a busy person, as it’s a good book to dip in and out of, because you don’t have to follow a story, as you would with a novel. You can just take it chapter by chapter, or even page by page, as there is something to learn on every page. Each chapter is written like a story, even though it is a factual book, so it takes the reader to all sorts of unexpected places, and for me it was a real page-turner.
I like this book because I learned such a huge amount from it, which has made me look around my own home with different eyes and appreciate just how far we have come in a short space of time in terms of architecture, technology, lighting, comfort and many other things.
