Who is this person

Why do you think this person is interesting
There are different types of people live in the world together and they are featured with diversified characters. I have met Mr. Geffry Ramadin, a man of fun.
Mr. Geffry Ramadin is the man who will make you feel comfortable with his companion and you cannot stop laughing hearing his jokes and the way he talks. Basically, he is a computer engineer by7 profession and loves to travel. He is filled with vast experiences of travelling in different parts of the world. The middle-aged man becomes the centre of attraction wherever he starts talking. His experiences have made him a man with numerous unusual experiences and when he describes those, the listeners feel thrilled and simultaneously get fun for his interesting presentation style. He is not a joker but his speeches are filled with humour and you need to have the sense to taste the humour too.
I met him in the elevator of my apartment. I was waiting on the ground floor for the elevator and he was standing beside me. At first, we did not have talks but a few moments later, he started talking over the cellular phone. I came to know that he was the new tenant of the apartment opposite to mine. Then we got introduced inside the elevator and invited him to be at my place for some tea breaks. He granted my invitation and then the complete introduction between us began. Mr. Ramadin has lived in different parts of the world for his occupational purposes and been hired by several globally renowned organisations. Since then, he is a senior friend of mine and shares numerous interesting issues.
When I pass moments with Mr. Ramadin, he teaches me different skills and tells me stories that were unknown to me. Sometimes, based on his mood, he tells the stories of African people and their living styles, their cultures and customs, how they have been exploited by the colonial rulers and survived, the current conditions of their life and many other similar facts. Besides, I have formed a network with few other neighbours in the apartment building to have chats regularly in the evening when everyone is back from their works. This is a type of recreational activity for us.
Mr. Ramadin is a man of letters. He also knows how to make people pleased. So, whenever I meet him, I become pleased after talking with him. When I become stressed for my work or for any other matters, I share my imbalanced mental and emotional states to him to get some advice to overcome the complexities. But before I complete the statements, he provides the solutions and it amazes me most. Whenever I apply the solutions or work according to the suggestions, it really works for me. The most important thing is that I cannot continue my imbalanced emotional atmosphere during the meets with him.

Speaking of an interesting person I know from another country, the first one comes into my mind is Mr. Davis. He is the person I met 1 year ago. The time I knew him was when he moved to our locality from a different city. He has a family with 3 members and he is an engineer graduate and has worked as a chief engineer in many reputed organizations as he told me. In his early 40’s he took self-retirement and now enjoys his time either in developing some mysterious engineering and scientific tools or by travelling to different places of the world.
Mr. Davis mostly wears old-fashioned clothes and has long beard with a strange look in his eyes. To my surprise, I found my conversation with him very interesting as he likes to talk about his plan to invent something very important to change the world. I am not sure what he is up to but it seems very thought-provoking to learn that he really believes that. He travels to hills and forests mostly to stay close to nature as he describes this habit to be helpful for idea generation. People often look at him very strangely and do some small talks about his attitude but I find him to be an interesting person. To my surprise he is a very devoted and dotting father and husband and has a good flow of money even though he does not have a full time job now.
Mr. Davis is really an interesting person. One day he knocked at my door and I opened it. He asked whether I can give him some copper or not. I was pretty perplexed with his sudden appearance and demand for the copper. He told me that he was doing an important experiment and he needs this to carry out his test. I apologized that we do not have any copper to offer him and advised him to visit the nearby shopping complex where he might find it. He returned back after an hour with some bags and thanked me to let him know where he might find the copper he was looking for. He then offered to visit his house and have dinner with him. The whole confrontation took me by surprise and I understood from that very day that he was bit unusual and interesting in nature.

When I think of a person from another country, I think of my best friend Jeremy. Jeremy is Spanish and he was born in Spain. But Jeremy has travelled a lot throughout his life, and due to his father’s job he has lived in so many different countries throughout the world and I think that this has given him such a wide perspective of life and the world we live in.
We met when we were in high school, he was only at my school for a year, but during that year we were always together and always up to mischief. I believe that Jeremy is the interesting person he is today because of his adventurous lifestyle as a child. He works as a wildlife photographer, so he is still travelling for many months of the year. He is becoming quite well known for his work these days and has even had some of his photographs featured in the magazine National Geographic.
I think that Jeremy hit the nail on the head when he said “you only live once, so live the life you want to live”. He inspires me to travel and see more of the world for myself too. This is why I applied to study abroad in Switzerland next October, I figured I could kill two birds with one stone by travelling and studying at the same time!
When I think of Jeremy I think of someone who has experienced a lot for someone of such a young age. He was wisdom beyond his years and he is such an interesting person!

Describe an interesting person from another country该题目有两个信息点:interesting person和another country。
You should say:
Who this person is这个人是谁
What this person does他做了什么
Why this person is interesting
And how you think of this person
The interesting person I am going to tell you is James, from UK, my classmate and language partner back to college.
He had many fascinating stories resulted from misunderstandings and one of them happened in a restaurant. One day, after school he decided to try some different food and stepped into a new restaurant. He immediately found this place was very friendly to foreigners, as they printed images of food on the menu. In this way, you can still order even if you don’t understand the Chinese characters. He pointed at the rice and stretched out his thumb and forefinger【做手势】, indicating he wanted two.
The waiter, who did not speak English, nodded and left with an expression that he understood. A few minutes later, he came back with eight bowls of rice, which occupied the whole table. James was really upset and couldn’t understand what was going on. Well, when I heard the story, I literally laughed my tears out and explained to him that although he only gave out two fingers, this gesture actually meant eight in Chinese culture. Any other two fingers but them would mean two.
He did make a lot of mistakes but he was never afraid to try and correct. That is where I admire him. It takes a great deal of courage for an adult to do it. And now he speaks very fluent Maderin and has a deep understanding of Chinese culture.
