话题范文:

Well. There are times when people need other's help and lend a helping hand to others as well I am no exception. Last year, I helped my roommate to see a doctor as she could barely walk because of the great pain caused by kidney stone.

Actually, it was in a snowy morning, I waked up and saw that she was trembling all over and as white as a sheet in her bed. She thought it would be alright after a while. Without a second thought, I took all the cash I had and helped her to get dressed, and then we hurried to the nearest hospital in ataxi. However, after all the dimculties we had in catching a taxi and all the coldness and pain my roommate suffered, the hospital did not put an Immediate end to it. We had to stand in a long line to pay the registration fee first. What pissed me off was that there were still more patients before us waiting to see the doctor. Later, with prescription in hand, I had to do the whole waiting thing again to pay for and pick up medicine separately. Thankfully, the acute pain of my roommate was greatly relieved by a shot of painkiller. As we returned to school , I put her to bed and saw her grateful look.

For my part, I think it is quite natural to help people we care about and expectnothlng in return. And I believe a friend in need is a friend indeed.Besides, I do enjoy the feeling of being needed.

范文

Well, I think it is normal to offer help when other people meet difficulties. I have been helped and I also have helped others. From the experience, I could feel that I am warmly treated. However, not every time when we offer help, our sympathy is well received and appreciated. I remember one time that I was ill-treated. It happened in a park. When I was walking on the path, a middle-aged man approached me and he looked extremely anxious. He told me that he was about to see his son in the hospital. He just received a call from his son’s teacher and got the news that his son was seriously injured. Thus he needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible. However, his wallet was stolen on the bus, and he asked me to lend him money to take a taxi. At first I was very hesitant and I was worried that it might be a fraud. But then the man offered me his driving license and asked me to keep it as a guarantee and that he would definitely pay me back and get back his driving license. So I took his words and lent him 200 yuan.

However, when I tried to contact this man the following day, he didn’t answer the cell phone. After I tried a few more times, he turned off the phone. It was not until then that I noticed that I was duped. I felt very disappointed. I would definitely be more watchful next time.

This experience teaches me a lesson. You should never be cheated by the thing you see through your eyes. People can’t lose their sympathy towards the weak, but necessary observation and suspect is reasonable when people are ready to offer help to somebody.

雅思口语描述帮助陌生人

范文:

Actually, I always believe in helping others and I help strangers regularly, even if it’s just in a small way like giving directions. But I can think of one case in particular that happened recently, when I helped an old lady who was at the bus stop.

I remember it clearly, I was making my daily commute back home from work and waiting for the bus. I noticed an elderly lady, perhaps in her 80s, crossing the road. It wasn’t rush-hour, so there was very little traffic and I was not worried about her. However, when she reached my side of the road she tripped on the kerb and fell to the ground. It was not a pretty sight, I can tell you, her nose started to bleed and she had cuts and grazes on her legs.

I quickly ran to give her some assistance and, along with another man, we managed to sit her on a bench and call an ambulance. Luckily, I also carry medical cream and plasters in my bag. My friends think I’m crazy, but it just goes to show you can never be too prepared!

I dread to think what would have happened to her if I hadn’t been there, I’m just happy I could help. I didn’t hear from the lady again, but I feel good having helped her. I hope that if I am ever in her shoes, someone will do the same for me.
