剑桥雅思写作高分范文篇一:
要求:With the fast pace of globalization, the whole world has become a global village with combination of different cultures. What are the reasons for losing a variety of languages and cultures? Think of some solution to alleviate the problem.
The progression of globalization is inevitable and undeniable. It has been widely noted that many of the world's languages and cultures are dying out. To seek the solution, we should take a closer look at the causes first.
Most important of all is the objective reason. The essence of globalization is commercialization and centralization. It is convenient in communication that some prevalent languages and cultures have its predominance, which makes superior of the senior and inferiority of the junior. That leads to deterioration of some minors. These languages and cultures will be overlooked and devalued until they completely die out.
As concave and convex sides of a nutshell, it has subjective reason. With the burgeoning of some VIPs, many migrants have swarmed into the dreamlands due to economic drive and stimulation, meanwhile engaged in local culture perspective and discarding their native languages and cultures as a 'betrayal'.
Hence this is a problem which must be solved as soon as possible. We should remind the world of versatility of the minor cultures through popular media such as music, artifacts or historical heritage, thus renovating the music festivals artistic activities and museums. In addition, let more people, especially the young men, use their own language.
Never tiring, never yielding, never finishing. We make the purpose, to prevent losing world's cultural and linguistic diversity. "This way a long, tapering, strip of bark can be peeled up to the length of the tree, leaving the tree to heal and continue to grow," says the United Nations Environment Programme Report.
剑桥雅思写作高分范文篇二:
The subjects and lesson contents are decided by the authorities such as the government. Some people argue that teachers should make the choice. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It has long been argued amidthe community: Which one countsmore, authority or academy? Notwithstanding the fact that our current pedagogyis so much clinging to the central committee, the educational system is in a blockbusteramount of outcryfor reform. Does the temporary system still embracerationality? Or is it the ripe juncture torefurnish it out and out? I personally took a deep look in it.
In the showdown between authority and academy, the former arguablyoutweighs the latter. Politics is a compulsory course in all kinds of enrollment examinations as well as all levels of educational institutions. The government, or a commander-in-chief to be vivid, needs to be held accountable for the stability of society. Education is by all means an almightytool to incubatea behaving generation. With social development gaining momentum, a farsighted power base generally with a broader scope than the individuals, needs to build up particular majors specializing in fledglingdomains involving cleaning energy, high-tech innovation, interpretation, to name but a few. Trained personnel in such fields are usually more fit into the society.
Arguments being articulatedabove though, academy-oriented teaching methodology is so far still reputedfor its own merits. With teachers gaining more says in selecting knowledge, the students will presumably be inculcatedwith a more objective perception of the curriculum. Without authority barging in, the possibility of the impartiality being jeopardizedis excluded for the mission of serving the regime is no longer valid. Only under such circumstance can the intrinsicvalue of the subject be authentically and manifested to the thirsty learners in an untangled manner. An untarnished and pristine academic ambienceis colossallydemanding by numerous pundits for the sake of equity and truth.
To sum up, there's no such inception that is appropriate to be dubbed"sheerly right" or "starkly wrong" . The righteousone solely lies in the rationality of adapting it. Authority, in China's case, can never be an outlierstanding by the side of academic circle owing to its unique national condition.
剑桥雅思写作高分范文篇三:
Why are a variety of languages and cultures disappearing nowadays?
Now the chance of experiencing different lifestyles or imitating to speak a few words of other languages for fun is slim due to the disappearance of some cultures and languages. I think that superstitious cultures and languages behind modern times cannot survive【thesis statement】.
Once I visited Se ethnic minorities village, located on a hillside in south of China. To my disappointment, I did not feel a different thing about ethnic clothes, food or music. Ridiculously, an old villager said that the forefather of his race had been an embodiment of a fairy with a dog head and a human body! The old generations have been proud of being the descendants of the fairy; however, Generation Y may feel ashamed of that because they know exactly this is a superstitious myth and to be a dog's descendants is not a glorious thing.Apparently, the cultures basing on superstitious belief would be torn down by social progress【topic sentence】.
Further more, a language without written methods may be replaced by advanced one【topic sentence】. There are many parts of the world where people cannot write because they do not have their own written language. The only way they can preserve their history is to recount it as sagas handed down from one generation of storytellers to another. With the fast pace of globalization, international aid can be put forward to reach every corner of the world. Those underdeveloped or isolated areas could receive food, medicine and education. The advanced civilization has pervaded into those primitive cultures hence they have started to learn writing something by the means of the available language accompanied with aid. Therefore their original one would have disappeared.
In conclusion, the disappearance of some cultures or languages is not worth preventing. This is an unavoidable outcome of the global economic growth. Most importantly, people can enjoy more prosperity and social progress.
剑桥雅思写作高分范文篇四:
Some people think that university should not provide knowledge, but to give practical training benefit to society. Do you agree or disagree? Use your own experience and knowledge to support your idea.
In this competitive society, employment experience has become very important feature of ordinary students’ future. So many people think that it is not necessary for the universities to provide knowledge, but to give practical training. I disagree with this point of view because of the following reasons:
The first reason is that rapid renovation of knowledge makes you short of expertise quite often. That is to say, the current knowledge of students is not substantial enough to face the requirement of practical training. If students are not taught professional theoretical knowledge, they just depend on some basic academic knowledge that they studied in the high school. In fact, they are really difficult to progress or gain abundant employment experience.
Another reason is that, in order to be fit for your career development, you have to acquire a lot of knowledge to make sustainable development. The perpetually changing career brings us not only the problem but also the opportunities. When Zhang xiuwan, director of Ganso Corporation, established the first branch in Shanghai, she found herself not knowing any Chinese law, so she went to the evening school to learn it. This case shows that there must be many changes in one’s career, so it is very important for you to learn more knowledge to adapt the changes. Students have the best memory and intellect when they study in the universities. If they do not work hard at study, they will lose it that could be balanced by neither good employment experience nor information of outside classroom. If students choose to carefully study academic knowledge in the universities, they would gain a better future.
Above all, I will conclude this essay with a rational suggestion: universities should provide basic theoretical courses and focus on teaching some practical training courses because the professional skills will benefit the students’ future career, and simple practical training can help them be more successful. To put it in a nutshell, universities should take measures to balance their relationship.
