1. Do you work somewhere?

Yes, I am working as a Business Analyst in a large IT company. the name of this company is IT Vista and I joined there 2 years ago.

2. What do you do for living?

The job is my main source of income. Apart from that I work as a part-time consultant in a Business organisation and do some professional content writing as a free lancer.

3. How much time do you spend at your job?

I spent around 8 hours everyday in my day job. I get Saturday and Sunday off from this job which I utilise to spend time with my family. I work about 4 hours as a consultant in another office on Friday and Sunday. Apart from that my free lancing career requires me 2 hours approximately each night. So on an average I spend around 9-10 hours per day at my job.

4. How long have you been working?

As a full-time employee I am working for the last 4 years. But I started my freelancing career far before than that.

5. Do you like your job?

Definitely I love my job. I love the work I do and I like to be productive in my job field. In fact my job brings me my bread and butter and I am grateful for having a nice job in a prestigious organisation.

Do you prefer to study in a quiet environment or an environment with some sounds?

Well, I guess on the whole I prefer to study in a quiet environment, the main reason being that I find it easier to concentrate, because noises or sounds tend to distract me. So in other words, I tend to get more work done when I can't hear anything around me. But saying that, I do occasionally like to listen to some music while I'm studying, because it can make it a little bit more enjoyable.

Does your school have any quiet places for studying?

Yeah, I guess I'm quite lucky in this respect, because there's a pretty big library on our campus with loads of desks for studying, and I'm always able to get quite a lot of work done there, as it's really nice and quiet.

What natural sound do you like the most?

That's an interesting question, and I'm not really that sure to be honest with you, but I guess I would probably say the natural sound I like most is that of waves hitting the seashore, because it's just really soothing, if you know what I mean. And it's a sound I only really get to hear when I'm on holiday, so I also probably associate it with being on holiday, which would be another reason why I like it so much!

Are there any sounds that you dislike?

Yeah, for sure! I mean, firstly, I really can't stand the sound of drilling, simply because it's just such a loud and unpleasant noise, so that would definitely be at the top of my list. And I guess the next one would be the sound of cars hooting, mainly because I hear it all the time where I live, and so it gets quite irritating after a while, especially when I'm trying to concentrate on something.

Are you ever bothered by noise?

Yeah, for sure, especially when I'm trying to get to sleep, you know, if there's a dog barking or something, it can really be quite maddening, but during the day I'd say I can put up with pretty much most noise, unless, of course, the noise is really loud and relentless, like if there's construction or renovation work going on around me.

I think the most adventurous person I have ever known has to be my brother. It was in the last year of his Bachelors that he realized his flair for travelling. When everyone was looking for jobs, he decided to travel. Earning some money through freelancing he started travelling. It was in those travels that he picked up day jobs, to let him survive and let the journey going.

It was after one long year that I met him and the stories that he told were amazing. He went hitch hiking from Dehradun to Kanyakumari, taking with him an initial amount of only 1000 rupees. So, there were times when he took lifts, did jobs to let him earn some money and mixed with local people. In the entire journey he was able to learn the basic language for almost 5 languages and can now very well interact with us using those language. He made friends and there are people he goes to meet even now.

When I asked if he did any adventurous sports, he replied saying he did lived an adventurous life. And this was something that did strike me.

Knowing absolutely nothing about what can happen the next moment and then having the faith that everything will work out fine is something that he has learnt from this trip. Although he has taken up a job, but the adventure in him is still alive, the reason why he takes trips every six months.

When it comes to this topic, I would talk about a photography studio which has a weird name called Papapu, it’s also the name of the owner’s dog and he thinks that it’s prettycatchy and easy to remember.

I know this place because the owner of the studio, Jack, is my high school classmate and I would say that he is a very talented and passionate photographer, he showed great interest in taking photos since high school, he always had his camera with him when there was a big event like our graduation party, he took an awesome photo of me in a pretty dress and I still have it.

His studio mainly takes wedding photos for couples, wedding photos are kind of a big deal for the young people in China. They would spend a fortune on a set of creative and fashionable photos to be the reminder of their sweet love.

I think this company is successful because Jack is a wonderful photographer who always tries to push his own limit and take the best photos. Before he starts to work, he would always talk to the couple and get to know them a bit more so that he can capture the most unique side of them. I’m pretty sure that he would be my photographer the day when I get married.
