托福口语话题失利，究其原因主要是对话题熟悉程度不够，也是因为在备考期间，大家对托福口语常考话题没有详细地了解，所以导致也没有做好充足的准备。

1. 经济——物品题/地点题/事件题

Take a casual walk, start some sweet chat and fresh air will get us refreshed. roam on the sidewalk, watch the water ripples in the lake,frolic near the artificial hill, sit on bench and enjoy the cool in summer.

I can relax myself, and breath the flesh air or clear my mind.

It is pretty near to my home. You probably won’t believe it, but it only takes me 5 minutes to go there from my home. walking distance. bring me convenience.

With communication, I could learn how to discuss, how to persuade, how to negotiate, and how to compromise.

It could be a great chance for us to make friends. You know ,I mean that you can meet many kind of people and learn many thing from them and even find bosom friends among them.

Yes, definitely. In the first place, doing sports, especially some aerobics, helps you turn off the fatigue in your body. Besides, doing sports is the best stress-reliever,because playing sports takes your mind off things that bother you, and afterwards you can concentrate better.

I like honest people because they are easier to deal with. They open their heart to you, you feel safe to confide your problems to them, and they always offer their true opinion for your good.

The person who I admire should be good tempered. They hardly get annoyed and they smile to everybody. I is easy for them to forgive others.

14. 放松——忘记烦恼/ 减轻压力

xxx serves as a great stress reducer for me. No matter how stressed I am, I will feel much, much better if I stay in the park, breathing that fresh air and enjoying that beautiful scenery.

Besides, … is my way of releasing my pressure. I mean, nowadays people are under a lot of pressure from work and life. So they have to do something to relax their mind. Take me for example, I will feel very relaxed and comfortable while reading it.

人物题要分类讨论

我们首先给人物题分分类。

主要分为两种：普通人【ordinary people】和名人【celebraties】。

今天，先详细讲讲第一种——普通人。

普通人里面，ETS主要考察五种人，我们直接看一下往年的真题：

1 What characteristics do you think a good neighbor should have?【邻居】

2 What do you think makes someone a good parent?【家人】

3 Describe a special friend in your childhood.【朋友】

4 Talk about your favorite teacher.【老师】

5 What qualities do you think a good leader should have?【领导】

答题时只需围绕

一个品质展开

对于一个普通人来说，我们在进行回答的时候只需要围绕一个品质展开讨论，就可以套用到任何普通人的题目中去。

也就是说，准备段子时，普通人的准备原则就是2个形容词2个例子。

这些品质可以有：hard-working, intelligent, a sense of humor, brave, helpful, a sense of responsibility, knowledgeable等等。

比如，我们选取乐于助人【helpful】这个品质，那么老师、家长、上司、朋友、邻居这五类人都可以使用;

例子也可以通用，比如出差的时候照看孩子或者宠物这个例子就可以用于这五类人。

我们下面以刚刚提到的第四题作为例题来分析一下。

Talk about your favorite teacher. Using specific details and examples to explain why you like her.

☞首先第一步，我们需要决定我们的描述对象。

这里我们选择英语老师-I really like my English teacher in my high school.

☞第二步，我们需要简单的对这个人进行一下描述。

上面提到的描述的切入点很多，注意只要不跟我们的理由点重合便可。

比如，她教英语已经10年了-she's been teaching English in our high school for ten years.

* 小tip：我们对描述对象进行描述的时候，建议使用定语从句，用一个who来引出描述切入点。上面的描述就变成了：I really like my English teacher in my high school who has been teaching English for more than ten years.这样的回答比你单句的回答要“高大上”很多，能让考官看到你的英语水平。*

☞第三步，我们想一个理由点。

比如我们选择creativity.这个老师的课很有趣，她比较创新。

于是我们的分论点就变成:

I like her mainly because she's really creative and her class is really interesting.

☞第四步，我们开始举例子或者作比较。

可以讲一次有趣的上课经历，比如老师上课让我们分组做游戏，赢了的小组可以赢得奖品;

也可以列举一下这个老师的上课风格，然后提出另一个老师的上课跟他作对比。

这样，一个结构完整的回答就准备好了：

Well, personally speaking, I really like my math teacher Linda, mainly because her class is interesting and I could really learn a lot. She divided us into several groups and gave up a lot of time of discuss one specific topic which is cool. And we could do some game in the class like spelling bee and stuff. Most importantly, she assigned us presentation tasks rather than the rigid written assignments which are boring. As a result we can only be in learning math but also practice the communication skill. So she is my favorite teacher.

注：斜体部分是要留意的地方，回答的时候加进去这些内容【情感态度词、详细的列举、逻辑连词等】，能让文章听起来更自然、更有说服力，考官听了也不会觉得很单薄。
