The man’s problem is that it’s the end of the semester and he needs to rewrite the lab report for his biology class. He has two choices to either stay on campus to revise his report and get his grade now or take an incomplete in the class and submit the paper next semester. I think he should submit the report when he returns in the fall semester. He can take his time and use the whole summer holiday to write the paper. If he needs additional materials, he can always find them on the Internet. Also, by choosing this way he doesn’t have to stay on campus and miss the family reunion this weekend.

题目

问题：男生过几天就要参加音乐会表演了，但是他的uniform不合身，裤子太长了，看着很邋遢。

两个解决办法：

1、自己重新换一套uniform， 好处是会合身，单问题是换的话会很贵，买衣服已经花了很多钱了;

2、自己改。这样可以省钱，但问题是不知道能不能改得好，而且改了就不能再拿去换了。

【解决方案1】寄回去

优点：换回来的裤子穿起来好看

缺点：运费太贵了,还可能赶不上音乐会

Solution1

谈话者cover his shift 替他当班，因为他负责工作安排，所以可以安顿好工作，但可能没有办法去参加晚上的study group

Solution2

请该员工坚持带病上班，自己可以去参加晚上的study group，但对该同事可不是个好消息

新托福口语题目回忆版本二：

女生TOM是管理gym人事安排的，有个叫Tom的人生病了今晚就来不了，但是他找了他的coworker没有人可以来帮他cover。

一是自己帮，但是她今晚有学习小组要去，虽然不是required,但是她对自己那部分的学习并不 confident。

二是叫他来因为front desk的任务不难，只要在前面站着就好，或许他可以理解而且确实没有其他人能帮他cover了。
