I prefer taking courses in traditional classrooms for the following reasons. First of all, it’s very important that students get to work with an experienced professor in the learning process. It’s so much easier to engage in a discussion or ask questions directly in a traditional classroom. The presence of a professor plays a big role when you are trying to learn something new. Second, learning in a traditional classroom means that you can meet many other students. It’s great that students get to know each other and become friends in the classroom. Plus, learning in a study group can give students other perspectives which can’t be obtained when taking online courses.

I think learning in traditional classrooms is better. The reason why I think so is that there are more interactions in traditional classrooms than in online courses. Students can have discussions and they see each other face to face. It’s highly probable that some of them will become friends. While in the online courses, students don’t know each other, they miss a chance of making friends. Also, in a traditional classroom, if a student doesn’t understand a concept or an idea, he or she can raise hand to ask the teacher directly. While in an online course, there is no chance for students to raise hands or to throw out questions immediately. Students in traditional classrooms not only learn the academic knowledge but also learn basic interpersonal interactions.

首先，要改造题干。在托福口语的评分细则中明确指出考生如果使用太多题干词汇，得分就会偏低。有考生曾经对一个话题“A school is planning to organize its students to visit the workplace. Which place do you recommend the students to visit? 1. A science lab; 2. A business office; 3. A TV studio. Use specific details and examples to support your response.”做出了如下开头式的回答：“If a school is planning to organize its students to visit the workplace, I will choose go to a science lab.” 首先，这种开头基本是对考题的照搬，如果题干很长的话，全部要复述出来也许要花费大概15秒的时间，仅仅只说了一个开头;其次，这样做没有体现出一种变化性，只是一种简单的重复。我们如果说：“I would rather visit the workplace…”这样的开头既简洁，又能对题干进行很好的paraphrase。
