Well, as for as I’m concerned, Frank is the most helpful teacher to me, and I have two main reasons for that.

To begin with, he is really concerned about all the students in his class. For example, he would meet me and other student after class to make sure we understood his lessons.

As for as I’m concerned, what makes a good friend is someone who is honest and has a good sense of humor.

For one thing, I just look for someone who’s honest to me no matter what. He should not tell stories behind my back; he should tell me my short-comings at my mouth, but never praises me in front of me.

Besides, I’d love to spend more time with someone who can make me laugh and is fun to be around. That is to say, he can really life my spirits whenever I get down or upset. Therefore I could always feel soothed and relieved in the time I spent with him.

Yes, I deeply agree that childhoodis the happiest time in life. First, childhood provide no pressurewhich we have to face after grown up. When I was a child, I had little pressureas I have now. For instance, I rarely worried about exams when I was a kid, butnow exams really give me a lot pressure. Second,a child often has much time to develop his or her own hobbies. For example, Ipossessed more time to develop my own interests, such as painting and singing. However, I hardly have time to do what I want todo now. So in conclusion, I think childhood is thehappiest time in life.

As far as I am concerned, theuniversity education is really significant for a person. First of all,the knowledge we learn in U is the most difficult through our study career, soit is vital for us to increase our ability in thinking, talking and studying.These abilities are quite essential for us when we work. Second, U education is the advanced form ofeducation, it need us to communicate, to corporate, these are the things wecan’t learn deeply in primary school and high school. Soif we don’t join the U education, we will lose opportunities to develop,I consider this is really a huge regret.

I deeply agree that our life is easier thanour grandparents’. First of all, we are able to enjoy the conveniencebrought by internet. I consider people should change their jobin different age. For instance, when we are young, we could work like asells manager; it brings a lot of income but also needs much energy. So when weare old, we may not work in a perfect condition, then we could change a job.

由此我们可以知道Task1主要是考察学生对于一个具体对象的描述能力，描述对象的范围包含人、地、物、事等。比如：

我们把这类题目称为“描述类”话题，这是新托福改革之初Task1的主要考试题型，但随着考试场次增加，Task1的题型也出现了新的变化。

变化一：“三选一”成为主导题型

在近几年的考试中，Task1的考试话题虽然仍旧可以从大类上划分为“人、地、物、事”，但传统的“描述类”题型已经被“三选一”题型代替。2017年的42场考试中，有28场考试的task1都是三选一题型。这类考题要求考生在给定的三个选项中选取自己倾向的选项，并用证据来详细地解释支持自己的选择。比如：

相比之前多样的描述对象，近几年考到的描述类题目对象多为活动或事件。2017年考到的7道描述类题目中就有6道在此范围内。比如：

变化四：“利弊类”题目保有一席

“利弊类”题目是2011年首次在大陆出现的Task1新题型，以后每年都会考到，其中2016年考到次数最多。这类题目要求学生对一种现象、一种个人行为或学校的一项政策分析其优点以及缺点。2017年最后一场考试的Task1考察了本年度唯一一道“利弊题”。
