交朋友托福作文
Making friends as a student can still be a difficult prospect. Given a choice between joining a sports team, participating in community activities, or traveling, I'd say the best way to make friends is probably getting involved in some community activities.
First of all, not everyone was born to play sports. Some people just aren't sports people, and while I'd certainly encourage everyone to be physically active, for many, trying to join a sports team will just make of them feel bad about their own lack of ability. In these sorts of cases, whether or not they can feel comfortable enough to make friends depends largely on how supportive the social environment is. As a teenager I played lacrosse in highschool, and despite being lanky and ill-suited for the sport, I had a great time and made many new friends because the people were fun and not overly competitive. But I also played on a soccer team at the time, and the experience was far worse due to the personalities of the other players.
I think most people would have better luck with making friends while traveling, though here you encounter the problem of staying in touch. Making friends on the road has several advantages: You get to meet a wider variety of people than if you had just joined a sport team, and since there's no competitive pressure, getting to know people can be a much more relaxed process. You also have stories of your travels to relate to people you meet along the way. However, there wouldn't be that camaraderie that comes from working towards a common goal, and a lot of the people you meet you'll probably never see again.
That's why I think getting into community activities is the best of the three options. Similar to what you'd experience in a sports team, you have opportunities to forge bonds while working towards a common goal, but without the high athletic demands of a competitive sport. You also get to meet a larger variety of people than you might find while playing sports time, because they won't all be athletes. Also, you're much more likely to see them again compared to people you meet while travelling. And finally, since you'll likely be doing a range of activities, you'll have plenty of things to talk about with the new people you meet.
Joining a sports team and traveling can both be helpful if you're a student looking to make new friends. However, participating in community activities is a balanced compromise between the two, and in my mind that makes it the best option.
关于交朋友的托福作文
Friendship is one of the most valuablesentiments for people, especially for people who are in school days. Making newfriends and sharing interests with others are always exciting parts of sociallife. When it comes to the best way for students to make friends, some supportthat participating in community activities or traveling are preferable, however, from where I am stand, joining a sports team is the undoubtedly thebest choice.
First of all, for the energetic students, doing sports is their favorite. Therefore, joining a sports team from wherethey can share same interests and relax is the easiest way to know each other.Training in the same sports team, the students cannot only release themselvesfrom whole day's pressure, but also can build up good relationships with othersthrough the communication and exercise. For example, the champions of Olympic Games,China'sfamous synchronized diving athletes, GuoJingjing and Wu Minxia, the two girls enjoy a really good friendship. Theybecame to know each other because they both joined the same sports team, andthen after exercised and played together, they finally become two enviable friends.
Additionally, cooperationand coherency are always the main essence of a sports team. Here, students learn how to work together, how tofight for the same goal through tacit teamwork, how to contribute to the wholeteam instead of just thinking of self, and even how to negotiate or discusswith others, as well as how to be patient and rational. Although there may besome argument or disagreement among students, I always think that everything isgoing to be okay because the sports team will be coherent.
Finally, joining a sport team will providea long period of time for students to get along with each other. However, ifstudents participate in community activities, for example, doing volunteer jobin the town's library, they would not have sufficient time to communicate witheach other since most of their time is full of working. Meanwhile, students canplay with each other during traveling, but only several days are deficient andmost people will not keep in touch with others after the trip.
与聪明人交朋友托福作文
It is normal to have friends throughout all stages of life: childhood, school, college, university, work, etc. The friends we associate with, as is widely acknowledged, have a major impact on our social life and personal success. Thus, how to choose right friends and build healthy relationships with them becomes especially important. As to the two types of friends mentioned in the statement, I would say humorous friends are just as right and beneficial to us as are intelligent people.
It is often said that relationships are like elevators; they are either bringing us up or taking us down.Indeed, in any friendship, no one seems to want a friend that is negative or down all the time, and it is usually the people who are uplifting and positive that we naturally want to be around. Then, which types of friends will there be to offer a listening ear and help us put a positive spin on any situation? The answer probably has to be friends with a sense of humor, who can infuse our life with laugh and lift it on to another planet. Laugh, especially a belly one, draw some air full of oxygen into our heart, lungs and muscles. A great body of research evidence reveals that this process, like physical exercise, releases endorphins in the brain keeps us in a better mood. In the long term, the benefits for health are enormous as it provides pain relief and even improves our immune system. Thus, it is safe to say, the more we socialize with humorous people, the more we laugh, the longer we would live.
Compared with humorous people, although intelligent ones tend to socialize with others way much less, most of them are no introverts. Besides, they are passionately curious, some of who do have a great sense of humor. Therefore, making friends with them would be an exceedingly exciting journey one can experience. When dealing with daily chores or even major problems, smart people are the first one to see patterns between seemingly disparate ideas. Meanwhile they do not close themselves off to new ideas or opportunities, thereby lifting us out of troubled matters. To be more specific, with the help of intelligent friends who are able to seek out alternate viewpoints and weigh the evidence fairly, a certain student may score higher on the SAT, and a certain employee may carry out a marketing survey more efficiently.
To sum up, regardless of the criteria everyone sets when choosing a friend, both humorous friends and intelligent ones are worth us establishing new relationships with.
