1. 描述一个老师的好特征 Describe the characteristics of a good teacher. Please state with specific examples and details22.A good teacher should bear many excellent qualities. First of all, a teacher should have outstandingteaching ability and an open mind. In other words, it’s important to be good at encouraging students tothink, decide and attempt, and the teacher should be willing to learn and accept new things. Furthermore,
a teacher is supposed to be patient and sincere to all the students even though they make mistakes inclass. A teacher should also be an honest and humble person, who opens heart to surrounding people andnever refuses to acknowledge her shortcomings, even to her students. These qualities can make a goodteacher.
As far as I am concerned, a good teacher should have the following qualities: confident, kind and patient enough. The teacher should be confident both of himself and his students. Every time he walks in the classroom, he should bring a strong feeling of authority, and makes his students feel a definite sense of trust. And the teachers should be kind to his students. If a teacher is too strict, his students would be afraid to ask questions, and that will decrease the efficiency of their study. In addition, a good teacher should never lose their patience in class when students ask questions repeatedly. Most of all, a good teacher should update his knowledge cuz further learning can make a good teacher re-discover the beauty of the teaching profession.

First of all, a friend in need is a friend indeed. A good friend should be willing to help you when you are in trouble, comfort you when you are frustrated. Furthermore, good friends should also be honest people, who can open heart to others and never refuse to acknowledge their shortcomings. I feel comfortable and safe to get along with these types of friends, and they can always offer their opinions for your own good. So I think friends like this deserve to be credited as the good ones.
In my opinion a good friend should have the following qualities: supportive and caring.
It is a well known saying that a friend in need is a friend indeed. Therefore, a friend should stand by you in the hour of any sort of need. They can be my friends in sunshine and in shade. They can make me feel a definite sense of trust. Then he/she should be very caring. When I am suffering hard times, or confronting difficulties, he/she can give me a hand and help me overcome the troubles. Also, I’d love to spend more time with someone who can make me laugh and is fun to be around.

I will introduce Mr. Jackson to you. You will be surprised to find that he is our sales manager, for hisrigorous habit of reasoning makes him more like an engineer. Yet he is not a boring person, for his smartjokes always cheer us up at difficult times. Mr. Jackson is widely regarded as a low-key player though heplays an important role in our company. Sure he is and that’s why we all feel it a pleasure to work withhim and to get along with him as personal friends. You cannot help being attracted by his magneticpersonality which seems contagious to people around him.
I will introduce my teacher Mr.Yu to you. He is an English teacher and a president of new oriental school’s. there are many good qualities reflected by him such as persistence and kind.
Firstly, his persistence to his dream is mostly attracts me. He spares no efforts to realize his dream of peking university for many years. Secondly, he is very kind to the talents and services to the ordinary people. The reasons for the new oriental’s growing not only because there are so many excellent teacher's willing to join in but also because these talents willing to stay in this place where is full of passion and dream.
You can not help being attracted by his magnetic personality which seems contagious to people around him.

A good leader should bear some necessary qualities. First of all, a leader should own the ability of teambuilding and help each individual in the team to perform their very best. In addition, a good leader shouldmaster impressive professional knowledge and skills, in order to decide the direction of teamdevelopment and help the subordinates to solve practical problems. 托福口语如何更有礼貌的来表达
中国人的英语以Chinglish闻名于世。我们最大的英语发音问题就是没有连读。但这都不是最主要的语言问题。一部分中国人说英语时,听起来没有礼貌,并不是这些中国人本身没礼貌,而是他们还没有习惯英语的礼貌表达方式,托福口语学习中也是如此。
比如,中国人在餐厅或咖啡厅,会说:”我想要一个汉堡”,但是如果直接把这些话翻译成英文”I want a hamburger”或” I want a cup of coffee”, 而在西方国家,人们一般会说:“Could I have a hamburger, please?”或“Can I have a coffee, please?”这样则会显得更加委婉得体。
再比如,中国人在拒绝别人邀请的午宴和晚宴时会说:“抱歉,我不能去,我还有别的安排。”翻译成英文就是“Sorry, I can’t. I have another appointment.”你如果这样说那别人第二次也许不会再邀请你了。西方人一般这样说:“That is a good idea! I would like to join in but I have another appointment today.”
所以如果想让自己的口语听上去更好更加礼貌,我们可以:
适当地使用情态动词:can, could, may, might, would等等。2.适当地使用虚拟语气:如would【had】rather, would【had】sooner, would【just】as soon等等。
3.句尾加上 Please就显得有礼貌多了。
4.陈述句的表达可能显得生硬或没礼貌时,尽量使用疑问句,否定句或从句.以免让听者感觉说话者带有强烈的主观判断或武断的感觉。以积极的,建议性的比较的,人性的语气去代替。
5.说话要以他人为中心。以肯定他人,赞同他人为前提。
从中我们可以看到,想要拿到托福口语高分,同学们在备考中一定要摆拖中式思维,平时多模仿、多用英文聊天,养成礼貌的英语表达习惯。
托福口语到底考什么
新托福口语的考试的总时间为20分钟,其中考试时间为15分钟,另外5分钟为准备时间和备用时间。
新托福口语题型分为两大部分
一共有6道题目。
其中两道独立题,四道综合题。
相信很多考生一听到这个准备时间已经崩溃了!

第一题和第二题
独立题|
准备时间为15秒|
回答问题时间为45秒|
题型要求考生就某一话题阐述自己的观点。问题会被朗读出来,同时会出现在屏幕上。
第一道题要求考生根据题目表达自己的观点并解释原因。
第二道题要求考生在两个相反的事物中选择一个并解释原因。
第三、四、五,六道题
综合题|
第三题和第四题是集合了读,听,说的形式。
阅读时间为45秒,听力时间为60秒-120秒,准备时间为30秒,回答时间为60秒。
也就是先阅读一篇文章,听一篇文章,然后回答问题。阅读材料大概包涵75-100个单词,听力材料是两个学生的对话,是对阅读材料中提出的问题的评论。
第四题就是学术题
学生学习方面的,阅读材料为75-100个单词的学术性材料
