在口语备考的时候，考生要了解托福口语每个题目的时间要求，要合理安排做题时间!

托福口语时间要求：

第一部分【1-2题】：准备时间15秒，答题时间45秒

第2部分【3-4题】：准备时间30秒，答题60秒

第3部分【5-6题】：准备时间30秒，答题60秒

托福口语时间安排：

第1、2中的题目属于日常话题，这两道题本身难度比较小，所以特别需要注意的就是时间的分配问题，在这45秒钟里，一般用5～6秒完成topic sentence, 接下来的40秒应以每一个detail或者example不超过3～4句话的规律完成该话题，也就是说大致20秒完成一个detail或example的表述。

第3、4道题要求考生首先在45秒钟内读完100字左右长度的单一段落。盲目追求阅读速度必然要影响阅读理解的质量。我们应该做的是掌握正确的阅读节奏：“根据快和慢两种速度交替而成的节奏来变化自己的阅读速度。” 唱歌因韵律节奏而动听，说话因轻重缓急而悦耳，阅读也是一样，快慢相间的阅读速度才能收到良好的阅读效果。

最后的5、6道以听力材料为基础，要求考生回答相关问题。首先，考生掌控时间能力的强弱对这个部分成绩的高低有着直接影响。在内容上一般是学校推出的某个政策【9/15是对student health center的改进，而9/23是对学校食堂的改进，所以从内容上来说都是贴近校园的, 从阅读的结构上来说，上面所说的政策一定是分为2部分【9/15是学校附近的大医院，斌且突出其2方面，距离和医疗质量，而9/23也是2方面，一个是引进一个新的食堂，第二个是增加服务的内容food serivce,在听力中一定是结合上述2点对其展开驳论，所以听力中有用的信息点只有2个部分，那么在自己叙述的时候只要对这2个驳论进行复述就可以了。

时间安排是很关键的，同学们在备考的时候就应该去计时做题，了解自己做题的速度，合理安排考试时间。

如何让托福口语更流利

在托福口语中，如果又突然卡壳或者思考总会给考生带来比较负面的影响，那么如何让托福口语更流利?

练习是托福口语技巧中最重要的部分。消除了心理的说英语恐惧，也积累了一定的材料并总结出了自己的答题思路，这个时候就要通过实践自我考察了。

其次是准备因素，就是没有准备好要说什么内容。口语的题目涉及生活各个方面，笔者经常笑称这是对自己生活的一次大回顾、大反思。如果你没有准备，没有什么话可以说，最容易犯的错误就是重复刚才自己说的话，为自己争取时间想下面要说什么，正好犯了流利的大忌。

一般来说，参加口试的考生担心自己会紧张。其实阶段是很轻松，考官会理解你紧张的心情 ，同时托福口试的问题是由易到难，循序渐进的，因此考生很容易进入状态。很多学生考后的经验都是阶段一点都不紧张。

最重要的是练习好心态的调整，在考试开始时的几分钟完全放松。这几分钟很关键，一旦出了错就会乱了方寸，丢失信心。一旦出错，心里也不要老是耿耿于怀，想着刚才的失利，因为下面还有机会让你补过。总而言之考试要求考生具备良好的心里素质，发挥出正常水平。

托福口语考的是一种思维结构模式，往往表现在在叙述时尽量对考题内容先总后分，单刀直入，这也是西方人习惯的表达方式。由一句主题句引出观点与中心，让考官能够清晰地得知叙述的主题，从而打下良好的基础。

如果在考题中出现了问题，则应该开门见山地回答问题，切入主题，阐明自己的观点，从而为接下来的详细叙述理清层次以及节约时间，如果有多余的时间，则可以再增添一句总结的话语，使叙述详尽完整。

托福口语中的部分范例解析

托福口语话题非常之多，在备考时候掌握的话题越全面越好。

1. Describe your favorite book.

《简爱》

The most helpful book for me is the famous English novel “Jane Eyre” written by Charlotte Bronte. The heroine called Jane Eyre is outwardly of poor appearance but plucky. She posses great courage and indomitable spirit to battle against unfair fortune as the governess to the daughter of attractive Mr. Rochester. It encourages people to challenge fate and take a positive and independent attitude to fight for freedom and equality, thus allowing access to our own happiness.

2. Describe a painting you have seen before. Why do you like it or dislike it?

My favorite paintings are Sunflowers painted by Vincent van Gogh. He painted these after leaving his native Holland for the south of France with the dream of starting an artistic community. The most famous of all sunflowers in art hold at their heart a simple parable about the brevity of life; they are at varying stages in the life cycle, from withered and wilting to vibrant full bloom.

3. Describe the most important decision that you made in your life.

The most important decision that I have ever made is when I was 19 years old, I chose chemistry as my major in my college. It’s of great importance because it determines what I will learn and what I will do the next four years. What is more, it partly determines my future career for the rest of my life. After four years of study, I think I made a right decision. Because I do like chemistry and have learned a lot of skills. I also have learned how to create an idea and implement it in my study and scientific research, which is an important ability during my lifetime.

4. What will you do to relax yourself?

I always prefer to go to a coffee house with my friends to relax myself, because I like the quiet atmosphere and soft music there. There is one such coffee house near my university. Sometimes we go there to enjoy the delicious coffee and cookies on the weekends, and all the things provided there are not very expansive. We can just sit down and share our experience with each other. So I think a coffee house is an ideal place to have a good time with friends.

5. What do you think students should do during their vacations?

Students might have many choices to spend a vacation as long as they can make the vacation time interesting or helpful. For example, you can visit your families or friends, go to concerts or do many other things for relaxation. You can also plan a trip to the city or somewhere you are longing for, which will help to broaden your view and knowledge. Furthermore, you can also choose to have a vacation internship, and the experience will increase your income as well as make you familiar with the society. So there is never lack of choices.
