When looking for information for a research project, I prefer to get my information mainly from the internet. First of all, when doing research online, a student can get access to massive amount of information, and it is very easy tocross reference the information for accuracy. While in a library, you can only checkout or carry a few books at a time. Second, some books and reference are hard to find in a library, for example, when a book gets checked out by someoneelse, you have to wait till it’s returned to read it, but resources online are always there and ready for use.

I prefer to use Internet to look for information for the following two reasons. First, it’s very fast to find the information from Internet. Since now we have many search engines such as Google and Bing, we just need to input key wordsand the results will be listed on the screen. From the results, we can always find the information related to the research project. Second, Internet has way more information than do printed materials. Nearly all printed materials nowhave e-version online. With may scientific databases, we can always find what we need by title, author or even content. So, when we are doing research project, Internet is more convenient than printed materials.

托福口语该如何练习

对于初次接触托福的新手来说，在托福口语备考过程中最常用的方法就是参照托福口语模板，这样的方法入门是非常好的，但如果过于依赖的话，就会造成背诵的嫌疑，自然会拉低分数，下面一起来了解下托福口语平时的练习方法吧。

问：托福口语怎么练才能提高特别快呢?除了买书之外，跟读之外，还有什么好方法?

答：看来很多人对IBT并不了解.IBT口语考试分两部分评分，一部分为内容分，每题满分4分，把内容讲清楚就行了，考官会暂时忽略你的语法和语音等错误，偶尔停顿也不怎么要紧.只要不影响考官理解.这一部分共24分。

第二部分为语法，语音，流利度，每小部分两分，共6分，语法为6次错误扣一分，14次错误全扣，语音为6次发错【指不标准的美音】扣一分，14次错误全扣，流利度为1.5秒的停顿记一次，也是6次扣一分，14次全扣。

内容分共24分，其他语言分为6分，哪个重要，各位好好考虑一下吧。

不过最重要的是你讲的话考官要听得懂才行，要不然什么都白搭，建议同学们准备一些自己的托福口语模板，帮助提升托福口语分数。

其实IBT的口语超级不重视发音，流利度什么的，这些只占很少分数，重要的是听力，因为IBT的口语考试有四道题都是要听一篇听力文章的，而且其中的两篇是学术性的。

那么IBT的口语的提高全赖听力的提高。虽然第一二题是没有听力材料的，但是第一二题出题很多重复，可以提前准备，一般是写作的185道题里面的，还有就是加上什么描述有趣的事情【包括过节什么的】，人，物体【玩具，食品等】，其实IBT的口语并不能反应出一个人的日常口语水平，他们只不过测试你能不能在北美的校园里上课，所以测试的都是学术性的东西，评分之重在于内容和逻辑性，当然，在内容和逻辑性得到保证的前提之下，提高一下发音和流利度还是很有必要的。口语有四道题是有模板的，一定要把模板练熟，这样讲起话来有逻辑性，其实做一些书上的好的模考题就行了，主要是听力和练熟模板。
