I prefer to plan ahead and always be ready for tomorrow. First, I need to plan ahead to feel certain about myself. Sometimes life hits you hard. We must anticipate the troubles coming in our way in order to deal with them whenproblems present. For example, we must choose a major that has the most demand on the job market. This way we won’t waste our time on things that have little real life application. Second, planning ahead means I can always stayproductive. I plan to not only finish my education with an outstanding grade, but also work a part-time job while I’m still a student so after I graduate, I’ll be able to have a resume that can impress my future employers.

I definitely think that children should do houseworks when they’re old enough to do so. First, they should help out their parents when they can. If a child takes out the garbage and does the dishes, then his or her parents can takea break and relax for a bit. Second, children benefit from doing these tasks. They spend hours and hours sitting at their desks studying and doing homework assignment. Taking care of some houseworks give them a chance to move around andtake their mind off things. Some housework like gardening is actually quite fun to do.

If you get a chance to choose a job, what will you do?

范文：

If I could freely choose any job, I would choose a job where I could do something constructive and beneficial for ordinary people. Definitely it would be something helping people.

Teaching of course is sort of that kind of job---- if you do it properly you can certainly help people. Traditionally in China teachers have been very respected; we have a saying a teacher for a day is a father for life.

Nowadays, attitudes are changing, and perhaps people are more realistic. But my dream isn't changing. I wouldn't be helping them materially but I could give them a lot of pleasure and lighten their days.

I love teaching and I want it to be my whole life's career 'cause I feel I really am contributing something to people's lives, to help them.

托福口语考前心态如何调整

一、自己的口语不好

部分考生缺乏信心，总认为托福口语太难，自己无法攻破。托福考的是母语非英语的人的英语水平。美国人评分比较公正，不要轻易气馁。

实际上，托福口语是高度模式化的考试，有机可循，尤其是3-6题。通过同类题目的训练一定会达到心中有数从容应对的程度。1-2题有以往的真题机经作为参考，不会难到开不了口。其实只要稍微沾边，轻微点题，并且让美国人懂大家在说什么，都会有个基本分数的。

二、自己口语水平很高

部分考生参加过英语演讲比赛或者有比较丰富的口译经历，感觉自己的英语水平很高，认为托福口语考试不在话下，不看题型裸考都能考高分。这就是另一个极端了。

因为大多数人在日常交流中都会用面部表情和肢体语言弥补口头语言中某些表意不明的不足，而托福口语完全是靠嘴巴说，并非视频聊天。所以，即使大家平时和老外面对面交谈十分自如愉快，也不一定在托福口语考试中就能得意考场。

另外，在和外国人面对面的交流中，对方的不时反馈会让大家觉得交流更简单，但是托福口语考试中只有大家一个人说，没有互动。口语底子好的同学思想上一定要重视并认真对待托福口语考试，把最基本的东西看看练练，高分才能唾手可得。

三、看了很多高分经验分享，自我感觉良好

部分考生反映，那种诸如“一个星期意外考110+”、“10天115+”、“29+29+29+29”的文章自己没少看，看他们的分数和分享感受，自己仿佛也拥有他们的高分一样，很羡慕很陶醉。“经验帖有时确实能‘治疗’复习无方向的症状，不过它和任何药物一样也是有副作用的，尤其是当考生对它们过分依赖的时候。”

每个人的英语基础、经历和性格以及很多细节都可能影响口语成绩，因此一个人成功的经验照搬到另一个人身上不一定会收到同样的效果。类似这样的经验贴很容易产生一种善意的、不经意的、很微妙的误导。单从这些经验贴中提供的信息来看，某些考生的高分和他们给出的经验和经历并不一定有必然的联系，他们不可能给出自身完整的特点。就算这个经验是他们成功的法宝，但有可能是其他人失败的毒药。

任何经验都是建立在刻苦实践上的，不下苦功，经验不会有效果的。但是经验本身就有光鲜的色彩，比起努力勤奋更具有吸引力，拿到高分的考生往往没有提及他们曾经付出的汗水和代价，或许他们考试近期确实没有怎么太用功复习，他们前期学习英语的辛劳和拼搏可能是我们无法想象的。、

托福口语的修炼法则

1、模仿

模仿并不是说我听视频/录音里的说了一遍你自己说一遍就完了，你要注重模仿音调，记住音调而不是复述。要在精听每一句话的时候，在文本上做好标记。语音是先扬后抑，还是一直上扬?哪个词的开头和哪个词的结尾连读在一起了?听英文歌和看美剧的时候能够发现，他们有时候吞字吞音很厉害，你要记录的就是哪些地方自然的就可以连起来，哪些需要重读等等。 在精听的时候，我们应该有意识地辨别到yes 的s 和think 的 k 是没有发出来的。Thank 的k 和you 是连在一起变成“Q”的。虽然这句话只有幼儿园的英语水平，但是很多很多中考生依然会说成 “耶斯”“sink”，清辅音浊化是中式英语发音的一大特点。

2、说慢一些

要和你说中文一样，有重点有省略、有高音低音以及快慢的差别。所以尽量不要说得太快，要让别人听清你说的每一个词，也让自己正确的表达。说话太快弊端有：1】、单词发音本身就不够准，一快别人更听不懂了。2】、说的太快凑不够时间。3】、说得太快，脑子没跟上，没有时间思考句子结构和语法，总是犯一些本不该犯的语法错误。 此外，考虑到评卷者的“听觉疲劳”，说话的“断句”和重点词汇在重音和语调上的突出，是有效传达信息的关键。所以切忌一味求快，而要注意断句，语调和重音。
